We have been here several times for a meal and loved it every time! It never disappoints & is always busy....wise to book a table! This place has so many drinks to choose from. I was impressed that it has a gin menu, and staff can advise on drinks & offer a suggested tonic to go with each gin. The... More

This pub is known for its pies and you won't be disappointed, apart from the pies you can get typical pub food, burgers are also quite good in here. Good selection of beers, ales, pilsner and a selection of continental beers. Beergarden at the back which is good for the sunny days.

A lovely bustling pub, good selection of rotating drinks from around the world and more so local ales. The menu is limited but this reflects in the quality of the produce and end result.very cosy place to come as a couple, family or friends. Highly recommended.

Visited this pub on 7th May 2017 for an evening meal, the pub has a welcoming vibe and comfortable atmosphere with attentive staff and a very good selection of real ales. The food menu is somewhat limited but varied and does offer a selection of different choices, portion sizes are adequate but not particularly generous, the food itself arrived reasonably... More

We had lunch at The Broadfield during "crab week". A great menu of well conceived dishes, fantastic choice of drinks (especially beer, ales and gin), all served in An efficient and friendly manner in one of Sheffield's authentic Victorian pubs. Excellent in all respects. Ignore the bad reviews, we had a great experience and will be back to try the... More

This is one of those places where you instantly feel at home. It has a great atmosphere and is very popular. Recently ate here again and the food was excellent, as was the sloe gin.

Joining a retiring work colleague for lunch, I joined my work colleagues at the table, many of whom had eaten/were eating due to staggered lunches. Having ordered a drink at the bar, I rejoined the table. There were no menus on the table, which made sense as the table had technically been served. So I approached a bespectacled chap stood... Hi Rory, Thank you for your feedback, we're sorry it wasn't a better experience for you. Just wanted to reassure you that we're looking into how this could have happened to you as it's certainly not the standard of service that we aim to provide. We hope this experience hasn't put you off eating here in the future. Regards, The... More

Although it's been nearly a year since our last visit the food, service and value for money are still outstanding. My only wish is that it was positioned in my home town so I might partake of the fantastic beer and gin selections. (Nominated driver!)

We went to The Broadfield for our anniversary meal as I've always wanted to try it out. It was busy but we were welcomed with smiles & shown to our table, always a good start. I reminded the waitress I needed Gluten Free food & she said that was absolutely fine. The food & service were brilliant from start to... More

At the Broadfield we are honest. We take pride in who we are, where we are, what we do, the food we make and the drinks we serve. There’s no fuss, no fancy, just a truly authentic Yorkshire pub.
