Having been here before I thought it was a very safe choice for our visit to Sheffield. As I was with friends I did not send back the asparagus I had ordered as a starter as I think it makes a meal disjointed and awkward...More

Went to Piccolino after an excellent night at the Crucible watching The Wizard of Oz. Nothing magic about Piccolino however! The restaurant was cold - clearly there had been a problem with the heating (I see other reviews seem to mention this) as there were...More

The staff were great and the food good, but the service was very slow. This was a shame because a lot of people are going to the theatre, we gave ourselves 1.5 hours, this was not long enough.

The service was variable depending on the staff, The meal was fine but overpriced. I guess they have high overheads due to their position in the town centre. There are better options to eat Italian in Sheffield.

Second visit to this restaurant, much better than 1st visit. Garlic bread with tomato to start was delicious as was the Lasagne. Taking advantage of the 50% individual club offer for January. Staff were very good too.

Visited again recently for the 1st time in 3 years and not much has changed. That's not a bad thing though at all - the service from when you walk in the door to when you leave was excellent and appreciated. The food choices are...More
