We have had enjoyed some good beers and food here but it has stopped trading. This is a pity as it has so much going for i,t accommodation, dining rooms and a great bar. We hope it re-opens soon,

Have had several Sunday lunches here for £10 ea + drinks. Not the finest cuisine you will ever have, but well cooked, well presented & very fair price

This is a very old pub offering great real ale ..... the draught Guinness is also kept well - we did not eat at the Inn, but the food coming out looked delicious and of a high standard - the young bar maid was very welcoming - you must try a shot of the locally produced Ludlow Whiskey - not... Very friendly welcoming staff. Sunday lunch is a carvery where you help yourself to potatoes and veg. Good choice of beef, pork or turkey at our visit. Good value and would recommend if looking for good honest Sunday carvery - booking advisable.

Nice little pub in Ludlow. One of those places where you get the impression that the staff are friendlier if they know you but not exactly a warm welcome on entry if you`re not a regular. The pub itself has a lot of potential and character and the turkey curry one year was really good. I say it has a... More

We had a starter of Mussels to die for. Our Rib eye steak was perfection with just the right amount of veg etc. Puds are generic, but this is a pub. Wine cost reasonable...would prefer a wider choice even at an increased cost.

Great live music, great food. Would definitely visit again. Waitress did a great job for someone who was relatively new, seemed a little nervous but was very polite and attentive.

we went on a cold winter's evening and it was so cosy inside and inviting. Friendly publican. Food was lovely - I had confit of duck leg and my husband steak and ale pie. All freshly cooked on the premises and delicious. Large choice of beers and ciders

Wasn't sure where to eat but decided to stay in Wheatsheaf and eat. Food is basic but portions are more than enough and was well cooked. It is what you'd expect - bit old fashioned!
