A nice Gastro pub with a lovely chilled atmosphere. Good selection of foods from pub classics to fancy fine foods. Really fantastic service and a lovely meal. GREAT wasabi peas!More

What a lovely little pub, yet it's a fantastic restaurant. The ambience is extremely charming. Very cute little "restaurant" with amazing food. We had the dry aged steak and risotto, they were unbelievable! As an appetizer I tried the salt and pepper squid... WOW! Definitely...More

My husband ate here for his work Christmas meal and raved about it so he booked it for my birthday we both had a 3 courses from the lunch menu it was amazing, great service, really nice place. Look forward to going back soon.

We discovered this pub-resto by chance as we wanted something special and not toon the tourist map. Food and drink is a bit expensive but well worth it. Excellent menu very creative and a good selection of wines too. Informal, relaxed and not stuffy.

We had a fantastic lunch at The Chequers. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The wine list was great and the menu interesting with good variety. We ate delicious food and had a wonderful experience overall. We will definitely be back!
