Nice place with a relaxed vibe and outside seating. Food, juices and coffees were tasty (the sausage in my breakfast wasn't of the highest quality!) but very generous portion for the large breakfast . Portions of salad and pittas were rather small and comparatively expensive (even for Bath - which is expensive!!) for what you get.

Had a full English here this morning, great portions of very decent food. Didn't try their coffee so can't comment. Very tasty bacon and sausage, nice fresh eggs. No hash browns which I always miss. Would definitely recommend. Nice friendly service.

Just happened upon this place by chance. Arrived in Bath for a girls getaway - hungry and in need of a drink. Lovely gentleman on the door, welcoming, served home made food and house wine. Delicious halloumi salad, friends had steak ciabatta. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere - reasonable prices, decent rose wine. Would definitely return and recommend.

I visited here for a cooked breakfast .it was a very busy little cafe but got a table straight away and ordered my breakfast I had to revise my order as the breakfast with a cup of tea would of come in at over a whopping 11 quid due to 1 extra sausage, so went for a standard breakfast and... More

This is one of those secret gems in bath. It's not often talked about, but once discovered you'll want to keep going back. The food is outstanding, it's phenomenal for breakfast...especially if you have a hangover. The staff are great and the vibe is chilled. A great spot

We chose this lovely, rustic restaurant based on the positive reviews and were not disappointed. It is pretty compact inside so we chose to sit outside; yesterday was a very cold and wet day but sitting under the canopy, beside the cosy heaters amongst this gorgeous piazza style area of Bath was a great delight. The staff were very friendly... More

I first visited this cafe back in November when I went to Christmas Markets in Bath. My husband and I returned recently and I took him there as I'd liked it so much and he loved it too ! Very friendly and helpful staff and great food. I will be visiting again next time I am in Bath.

I love the fresh food. And they have gluten free meals and bread that I enjoy. Lovely interiors, well decorated and cozy! Very friendly staff, not invading your space when you want to have a peaceful meal and relax. The restaurant is overcrowded on Saturday lunch time, so I suggest any other time of the week (unless the sun shines... More

We stumbled across this restaurant on a cold January day , we had 2 hours to kill before we could enjoy the benefits of the thermal spa, so decided to partake of an early lunch; it was very busy & we were advised we would have to wait for an inside table for 6, however one became available within a... Description
The Kingsmead Kitchen is a vibrant and friendly family run restaurant in the beautiful city of Bath. Positioned on the West side of Kingsmead Square, a stones throw from the fantastic shopping and theatre districts of Bath, the cafe has a sunny outlook over the square and customers can enjoy the bright interior or sit outside to soak up the hustle and bustle. We are well known for our generous helpings and freshly cooked food. Our menus change regularly and always include seasonal produce, some of which comes directly from Elcombe Farm, our family farm in Wiltshire. Recently, the cafe has undergone some exciting changes and there is much more planned for the future. Co-owners and managers extraordinaire Edi and Geraldine bring a spark and energy to the front of house, head chef Dan oversees the kitchen with gusto, whilst Piers and Sophia are the driving force behind the Field, Fire & Feast brand. All of us welcome you to the cafe and hope you enjoy it.
