Fantastic quality food. Particularly love the mousakka, lamb Tagine and sticky toffee pudding! Delicious and is restaurant quality in your own home.

I have been extremely lucky to have tried several of the dishes available from Cavendish Cooks and can't wait to try more. They come ready cooked and frozen and are really tasty. Conveniently packed in generous one-portion packs so perfect for families who like to eat different things at same meal, as mine do. Special favourites are the fish pie... More

Cavendish cooks are incredibly reliable to provide yummy food for a fair price. I have been very happy with 4 main dishes so far, especially the coq au vin and steak chilli! The sticky toffee pudding is delicious, I couldn't stop eating after half and finished the whole 2 person portion unable to move but it was worth it!! I... More

We stayed in bath for the long weekend via airbnb and ordered their gourmet frozen dishes to be delivered to our apartment so that when we arrive, all we need is to pop them in the oven and rest and enjoy the dinner. The dishes are all delicious and I personally love, yes love the haddock spelt risotto. Its so... More

The fish pie was disappointing. Very salty, not much fish and very little sauce, quite dry. Don't assume this will feed two people, it won't.

Hello Jude We are so sorry you felt that your meal didn't match the high standard of food we strive for. We'd like to offer you a refund and an opportunity to try another dish of ours so we can demonstrate the true Cavendish deliciousness. All of our dishes serve one, we would only suggest they could stretch to serve... More

We used Cavendish Cooks for a large order for a hen party. The food was lovely, all agreed, and the price per portion was extremely reasonable. Also, everything was delivered to our rented accommodation before we even got there so all the less hassle for us. Had to microwave through a couple of portions at the end but that could... More

Thank you for your lovely review Emma. We're so pleased all your guests enjoyed our food - and that everything we put in place worked smoothly for you. The type of oven can affect the length of cooking time, thanks for letting us know. It would be lovely to provide some more deliciousness next time you are in Bath. Meantime... More

I often visit Eades the grocer to stock up on the Cavendish Cooks meals since the shop relocated. The quality is just brilliant and consistent. Perfect flavours and seasoning, everything is exactly as it should be. The chicken with fennel, haddock risotto, and chocolate pudding are just some of my favourites.

Hello Charlotte, thanks so much for your review of our home cooked food. (Some of my personal favourites too!) We're so glad it's working well for you to visit Eades the Greengrocers to buy your dishes. If there is ever anything special you need, or a specific quantity, do let us know and we'll arrange with Eades to reserve it... More

We relied on Cavendish Cooks during our winter (s.c.) holiday recently. We came down with colds, and didn't feel up to venturing out in the evenings, or doing much cooking ourselves. Great Italian and French dishes, cooked and frozen daily, just 30 to 45 mind to reheat. Try Eades Greengrocers round the corner for excellent, locally grown produce and pasta,... More

We regularly have Cavendish cooks meals for 'dates' at home - restaurant level food at home. Particularly good are the aubergine parmagiana (though this time the cheese didn't melt - weird), peanut curry, haddock spelt risotto. The sponge puddings are a bit disappointing, as is the potato dauphinoise. More vegetarian choices would be good. Oven cooking times perhaps underestimated -... More

Coming here quite often to pick up some freshly cooked food. Super friendly place in a lovely neighborhood. It simply can't go wrong.
