Me and my friend went there to have a Afternoon Tea. And it was worth it! Lovely sandwiches, scones and cake of our choice! We asked for more cream for our scones and it wasn't a problem. Very nice. We left happy and most important- full!!!

I made a booking for my sister's hen weekend and it exceeded expectations. We were hosted in the next-door room which takes group bookings, and everything was laid out beautifully when we arrived. Everyone was really impressed with the quality and taste of the food, and the relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Here is a intimate tea room offering something different to the corporate high-street coffee shop. First you get proper tea, loose with a strainer, as a tea drinker this is very welcome. We had the cream tea, which was acceptable, a bit skimpy for the price and not great scones. But the atmosphere is nice even on a busy Saturday... More

The idea, location and venue itself have such potential. The waitresses were nice HOWEVER management let it down massively. There was no warm welcome, there were no little touches. If you have anyone with you that doesn't drink tea its water or tiny bottles of juice for ridiculous prices. I was also expecting to have a full vintage experience outfits... More

Great tea and lovely cakes. I had a delicious Welsh Rarebit for lunch and have previously had great cakes here. This tea room really is a step back to the 1940's with all the staff dressed in period costume.

Just delightful! Decor of 1940s /30s vintage so authentically well done. Afternoon tea was fresh two scones good sized pots of CLOTTED cream and jam. Loved the touch of having the tea ( loose leaf) with all the right equipment tea cups and saucers, strainer, bowl of sugar lumps with the little sugar tongs! In the setting it felt like... More

The cutest kitsch decor! Delicious cake and scones and gorgeous tea, not shy on portion size either. The waitresses looked great and were very accommodating. Definitely will be coming back!

Plus points -lovely setting and beautifully laid out afternoon tea, and our waitress was friendly and very attentive However...toilets are still broken no flushing/hot water and we were rather rudely 'evicted' when we over stayed our welcome after 2pm which didnt make me want to rush back. Appreciate that they probably need to set up for another party BUT there... More

It's a lovely little tea room, all vintage inside and on the menu. A good selection of teas (most loose leaf). The staff were lovely and friendly. Will defiantly be going back!

Lovely tea - nice and strong. Really good cake. Good service. I would have given a five if the toilets had been cleaner as I feel a clean toilet says a lot about a place.

Thank D W
