We have been to this restaurant many times when visiting Bath. I booked ahead as were planning to go on New Year's Eve , and we're told that we would have to pre book our food. On the morning of our visit, I realised that we had not received an email about this so called in to check that our... More

My friend and I popped into Bath on Wednesday Jan 4th to get out and about after the festivities. He then suggested treating me to the set menu lunch here, a place I had not visited. We like to go early so were seated by 12.15pm. Our waiter was attentive throughout. I had a piece of pork tenderloin with tasty... More

I'll keep this review quite short but must say that it's the second time we have visited Brasserie Blanc so that speaks volumes. The first was time we ate was December 2015 so yes a bit slow with the review but I must say it was all first class. Great service, a lovely table by the window, food was nice... More

The atmosphere was good, for a Friday night in January it was not full but still seemed to have a good number of people eating there. Chosen mainly because it was attached to the hotel we were plased with the choice on the menu and the service was very attentive. Only slight niggle would be that it said 'Autumn menu'... More

Visited 8.45 Saturday evening. Not too busy. Liked decor, and surroundings, but didn't feel the service or knowledge of our waiter was that good. Meals were ok, no bread served with soup or mussel starters, it had to be asked for after they arrived and paid for additionally as a sidedish, waiter didn't ask if we wanted it, when we... More

We took a break from an all day shopping trip and decided to take advantage of the 2 meals for £10.95. We found the menu to be good value, I enjoyed the minute steak which was very tasty although the fries were a little over cooked. Friends had the lamb with no complaints and we all enjoyed the wine. Portions... More

Our visit was in the 'doldrums' that follow new year. We were staying at the Francis Hotel, to which the Brasserie Blanc is attached, for a few days and had dinner here on the night that we arrived. As you would expect they weren't very busy and the fact that only half a dozen tables ( of 50 or 60)... More

It is good to eat at a restaurant that showed they want your custom. From the moment we went in we were met by polite friendly and hospitable staff. The food was really good, far better than I was expecting, the surroundings were comfortable and welcoming and the staff 1st class and friendly. The management have got this right and... More

Having booked into the hotel attached we were advised to book this restaurant as it tended to get very busy. Meeting friends we complied and were very glad we did. We had pre dinner drinks in the hotel and walked through the connecting internal door to the restaurant, no need for heavy coats or umbrellas. On entry we were met... More
