Had been so looking forward to eating in this highly rated café. I choose the soup of the day because it was one of my favourites and I think a good eatery's Dish of the Day is likely to show its cooking at its best....More

We called in because it was too cold to go another step. Happenstance can work out so well. What a treasure and very well patronized by locals. It's a bit out of the usual tourist tracks but so worth the walk. The food is fresh...More

This little cafe was definitely a lovely surprise! Very child friendly. Wish I found it earlier. Food is fresh and tasted delish! Great alfresco on a sunny day! My little boy loved the chickens and seeing the cows. Great little play area for children. Will...More

The perfect way to start a morning, with a fresh squeezed orange juice, creamy scrambled eggs, and for me a well cooked English breakfast! Plus you can get a really nice cup of hot chocolate made with Almond milk! Next door the selection of cheeses,...More

We went for afternoon tea and ended up waiting for 30mins before getting our tea & cakes. This was despite our constant reminding that we had been waiting for a long time. The excuse we got was that they were stock taking. Not interested. We...More

The freshly prepared soup of the day, following by home made cake and coffee, the perfect lunch. There is so many other choices, different every day. ~Then there's the cheese and wine counter, worth the short walk.

This is my go-to place for a light lunch with an indulgent cake. It is small (but pretty) and the marble-topped tables are close together; sometimes the service can be a bit slow, but in spite of all that, I keep returning because the food...More

The staff are friendly efficient and knowledgeable. The selection of fabulous cheeses makes you want to not care about your waist line. At Christmas they had a sherry that was so smooth (I’m 43 not pulling my pension yet) that we shared it with family...More

Popped in here for a light lunch with hubby and ordered the cheese platter and the charcuterie platter or us to share. We were asked what 3 cheeses we would like on the platter but as there was such a vast array of cheeses to...More

One of my favourite addresses in Bath. We have been coming here for years. Initially mainly for the great selection of local and not so local cheeses, the wonderful crackers, jams and chutneys but in the last few years for coffee and lunch as well....More

Description
TWO SHOPS IN ONE We have a 'cheese shop' with a range of delicious treats, and a café with our own chefs. Our 'cheese shop' groans with artisan cheeses, and great food and wine, some of which you can't buy anywhere else. Our own chefs make everything from scratch - from flaky pastry sausage rolls to chewy pistachio macaroons. We will prepare you a cheese plate from what is in season. Why not graze as you browse?. You may shop in the 'cheese shop' for Keen's Cheddar, our own onion chutney, farmhouse butter and Hobbs House bread, or have them made for you into a sandwich, served with a cappuccino or a glass of wine. OUR STREET FOOD On nights where you simply don't have time to cook, let The Fine Cheese Co. prepare you a feast. Drop into our Walcot Street shop and pick up a delicious, homemade meal a for fuss-free dinner. Alternatively, when those hunger pangs hit at lunch time, grab something from our range to eat al-desko, or alfresco if you are lucky enough! Our chefs Laurent, Julian and Tess have created a Street Food Menu that will change twice a month. The menu includes three dishes that work together perfectly as well as on their own, and a selection of freshly baked pastries, tarts as well as our daily Spanish Tortilla.
