We didn't like the look and feel of all the tourists style restaurants in the center of town (near the roman baths), so we ventured into the side streets and found this place. This place is bordering a small public garden so you have an option of buying and eating out picnic style (which me and my wife did). The... More

I made the mistake of thinking I could "pop in" here to quickly get some fish & chips before a gig at the Komedia across the road. Boy, was I wrong! Despite the fact that there were hardly any customers, the two staff behind the counter seemed entirely out of their depth, confused, and possibly operating in some kind of... More

I'm not a great fish and chips lover and really only went as my three friends wanted to go there. We all had the cod and chips with tartare sauce and a slice of lemon. We were offered the choice of having the cod skinned which we all had and I have to confess that it was the nicest cod... More

We found this place on a visit to Bath during the Christmas Market. From the outside it looked quite inviting. The restaurant claims boldly that it is in the top 5 in the South West. Upon entry all was going well. Very clean place. We sat at a table on street level although there are more tables downstairs. Our order... More

I was working a late shift and I've had fish and chips here before. I popped down and ordered my usual cod and chips. Like always it's freshly cooked and I only ask for a small fish and chips but the size is more than enough with lashings of chips. All served in a flat box. A colleague of mine... More

My husband and I arrived just before opening at 12 so the lady took our order before we went downstairs to the restaurant. It was pleasant enough. The fish chips and home made mushy peas were delicious, also a good mug of tea. There was a nice choice of old fashioned puddings like spotted dick but unfortunately I was too... More

Very good portion of fish and chip for the price. Consistent flow of customers. The chips seem to be "extra fried" for a bit of edge to the crispiness.

We had cod and haddock. It was freshly made and juicy. Although it is a fast food place, I can fully recommed the place when you just like to have Fish & Chips

Neither fancy nor modern, but really good, traditional fish and chips. The batter is particularly good and the portions generous. They have a drinks licence and there are a couple of tables on the pavement. Nothing fancy, just good, honest grub.
