Lovely place. Seems unassuming on entry but great staff, solid service and decent Thai food. Would absolutely recommend and will visit again.

Couldn't fault it! Great tasting food and the service was superb. Although they were not too busy with people eating in the restaurant they seemed to have a healthy flow of takeaway orders leaving the kitchen. Despite this our food came quickly, was perfect and the service was great. Great value for money too!

I decided to try Thai Basil Restaurant rather than the other Thai nearby where I stay. The restaurant itself very authentic and the food very tasty just like what REAL Thai people to die for. If you craving Thai Food with authentic atmosphere and taste during your stay in Bath. I would recommend this one.

We were dying to eat some spicy Thai food after days in England and made the mitake of going to this place since recommended by a friend who is a local. The food was as far from authentic Thai as could be expected ( we have been to Thailand half a dozen times & do know) , the cuts incorrect,... More

Best Thai food I think I've ever had and plenty of it. Staff could not have been more friendly and house Shiraz was fantastic. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Worst I've ever had - my chum's stir fried pork was nearly all fat - the manager tried to tell him it was 'special marinated pork' ... it was virtually all fat ... I took a piece myself ... fat with little islands of meat ... My stir fried beef was chewy and some of it hadn't been cut through... More

Nice polite staff, thanks for that. Our starter salad Som Tom Je was delicious and authentic, so I had high hopes for the mains. I'm sorry to say that neither one of our dishes even resembled Thai cuisine. Thai Basil could make it but they don't. I can guess why - but what are we really asking for when we... More

After a slow start on a busy Saturday night, and after asking twice for drinks, our order was eventually taken. The food arrived after over an hour. It was beautifully presented, piping hot and generous portions. The set meal A for 2 was fantastic value and everything was exceptional. The staff were very smiley and apologetic for the wait but looked... More

We chose the set meal, it was delicious. Mixed starters were fabulous even though the beef salad was one of the spiciest dishes I have ever tasted!! The main course was superb & we could not manage the desert. Worth going back to Bath just to visit this restaurant.

Thank Kateisaac
