I visited Bath with the Wife the weekend before Xmas and called in at the Raven twice. On the Sunday I sampled several Real Ales all in excellent quality. The Raven Gold and the two Teignworthy ales both stood out although all the other ales...More

My wife and I were revisiting Bath 40 years after our honeymoon! Having done all the touristy bits, we decided to get local. The beer and pies were fantastic, plus we were highly entertained by the landlord’s chat about a recent visit out with the...More

If you are looking for a good selection;ection of beer and a real pub where you can talk to anyone, grab a beer and a pie, then look no further. A Bath institution and rightly so.

Came here for lunch on a day trip before visiting the Roman baths. Had the Christmas pie which was superb. The upstairs area had a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, service was faultless. The puddings were nothing special but The Raven deserves 5 stars nonetheless.

We had amazing vegetarian pies with local ale (for me). I am traveling with just my 14 year old and she loved it as well. We had dinner on the 3rd Monday of the month and ended up attending the story tellers session. That too...More
