A restaurant gem in Cheddar

We've been coming to Cheddar for years to visit family but have only recently tried La Rocca - we've been missing out! The menu choice is extensive, the pizzas and pasta we chose were excellent and the atmosphere was buzzing! The real stars of this...restaurant though are the staff - well managed and attentive even when really busy, Nothing is too much trouble and they seem genuinely pleased to look after you. We'll be back!More

Fantastic Italian restaurant

Visited Cheddar and after a long day walking we had dinner in this fantastic restaurant. Warm friendly welcome, fantastic staff and service was excellent. WARM AND FRIENDLY TEAM AND AMAZING FOOD

We stayed in Cheddar for two nights and visited both evenings we were there. Excellent service, Amazing food and all round a lovely restaurant. Lydia (the Manager) was so warm and friendly, always smiling even when at one point the restaurant was jam packed but...she never stopped to make sure everyone was looked after. Thank you also to Olivia who was also helpful and friendly. Overall an amazing team. We cannot wait to visited again.More

Amazing food

Absolutely amazing service, food & spotlessly clean. I would say its the nicest Italian food I have had out of Italy. Beautifully presented & hot plates too. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A must if you are in cheddar . I really wantvto...go back there.More

Nice restaurant

Nice restaurant- the staff were friendly and the food was quick and tasty. They managed to fit us in late notice - We would eat there again if in cheddar.

Great place

Wow what a great place this is. Staff friendly and welcoming. On a Tuesday night middle of March it was very busy which shows how popular it is. Food was well presented and the portion sizes were good. If coming back to cheddar I would...definitely come back again.More

Highly recommended

Dined at La Rocco twice whilst staying in Cheddar, very good food, ambience and friendly attentive staff. Food was very tasty hot and freshly made. If your in Cheddar book a table you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Food .. Friendly staff.

Good pizza and pasta

We came here as a family this week for dinner after visiting the Caves. The pizza and pasta dishes were really nice and the service was friendly and attentive. Prices were in the £14 - £18 range for pizza and pasta which isn't cheap but...really just a sign of the times.More

Good food served by people who want you to feel looked after

La Rocca is place that ranks great food with staff who make you feel looked after. The ravioli of the day is beautiful, finely made pasta packed full of taste. We had a table of 13 with ages 6-83 and nothing was too much trouble....Went back two days later and had an equally lovely experience.More

we went in summer and they seemed to cater for tourists wearing whatever they had, but most people had come for a meal out so most people seemed to dress up a little - smart casual.
