After a long walk around the cliff top at the Cheddar Gorge, we had seen this recommended for breakfast and brunch. Great food and service with a nice proper coffee. Great location and although there are tables outside we went inside and the decor is great (I thought from the outside it would be old fashioned but it's smart) Had tea and scones (which were huge) with generous jam and cream Would recommend for tea...and cakeMore
Went for a spot of lunch but wasn't feeling overly hungry so went for a childs ploughman's and this is what I got pic attached as u can see I was very disappointed @ £5.50.More

Had the full breakfast for three and a hybrid breakfast which was catered for without fuss. Lovely tea and coffee. Bacon is ridiculously good as are sausages. 12 out of 10. Brilliant. Lovely service too. 👍🏻

Last minute lunch choice after another venue let us down. We were so hungry but so glad we walked into this place. We got a warm welcome and service was impeccable. We headed here for breakfast this week before the Gorge Walk. It set us up brilliantly for the walk as the Full English was plenty of food and was really tasty. Good milkshakes for the kids and my wife enjoyed the cappuccino.

An excellent morning tea. During a shopping expedition, I chose to go to Edelweiss, and was very happy with my choice. My fruit scone with jam and clotted cream was delicious.
Oh my days,this is the second time we have eaten here recently and today we had there full english,it was sublime,superb ingredients,piping hot and delicious. Ive eaten many full english in my time lol but none as good as this,we are so looking forward to...returning,dog freindly too.More

We recently stayed in cheddar for 5 nights, we like this cafe so much, we ate here for breakfast every day. Tip, the carrot cake is so so good.
A return visit and just as good as last time. Full English as it should be and every item was perfectly cooked. Staff are outstanding. Friendly and professional and unflappable as it got very busy. Lovely atmosphere and highly recommended.
