We had lunch at The White Hart on Sunday (during a bank holiday weekend ) and were very impressed by it all. Great food, lovely seating area in the garden, quick and excellent service (great team) and even managed to find parking. All in all...a 5 out of 5 experience.More
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a friendly server, (Abi). Place was busy with a considerable amount of tourists, just like me. We ordered our food, ham, eggs, chips and peas and expected and advised of a a 40 minute wait....It was a beautiful day, the garden was lovely, children were playing we are on holiday so waiting was no trouble. 20 minutes and our food arrived. Huge portion of really thick hand cut ham, two gorgeous eggs, great chips and peas. Served with a smile and an "is there anything else I can get for you". In the bar we were also greeted friendly by a local which makes such a change in a holiday location. The White Hart is well worth its 5 stars, thank you.More
Fantastic ploughmans! Came here 5 years ago and was amazing and it is still the best ploughmans in the country. Fantastic servings of cheese too.
Had a fabulous roast in the White Hart on Sunday 21st May. Flavour was incredible. Hot and plenty of it. My son also had a pizza which was lovely too. Pub was very busy but the staff worked flat out to make sure everyone was...served and happy. Will definitely return.More
WELLS Holiday (09-05-23) Popped in after a long walk with the wife, dad and dog, a dog friendly pub, not busy and got our drinks, comfortable seating and a nice looking pub, friendly atmosphere and a nice time.
26 of us dropped in for lunch in the beer garden. Great, friendly, service and good food. The potholer beer was excellent too!
Popped in for food on a hot bank holiday, staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, food was amazing and service was quick! Especially after a busy bank holiday, we were welcomed with open arms, food was brilliantly priced and many good gluten free, vegetarian and...meat eating options! Amazing! Will Definitley be coming back!More
Sunday morning breakfast- delicious ! Cooked to order and couldn’t ask for a better breakfast. Full English/vegetarian options. Pub also serves Sunday Roasts done tables already reserved - a popular choice!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Good menu. Would recommend a visit if visiting Cheddar
Great pub and super friendly staff, will be going back to visit next time we walk over the top of the gorge.
Super lunch - great little pub we stopped off after visiting cheddar gorge. I had the pizza which was nice (looked hand made). You can get a good vegan option here. Seating outdoors if you have a dog.
Me and my partner ate here today, the food was Poor, bland freezer food, just like what you would get from Iceland and reheat or deep fry. Do not eat here if you enjoy your food.
On arrival we were greeted with big smiles and friendly chit chat. The fire was ablaze which made the pubs atmosphere lovely. Dogs are welcome in this pub.
