If you're visiting Dunster Village this place is a must. Indoor and outdoor seating. Varied menu reasonably priced that caters for all tastes if you want a full meal, snack or just a piece of cake (and there are lots to tempt you with). Lovely,...friendly, efficient staff and the place is absolutely spotless. Dogs are welcome, even walkers with muddy boots! Give it a try you won't be disappointed!!More

We enjoyed both sweet and savoury cream teas in a sunny garden just next to the National Trust Dunster Castle car park (look for the gate in the wall). The homemade fruit chutney in the Devon Blue cheese scone was heavenly and we recommend the...ginger scones!More

Scones at the beginning (cherry scone cream tea) and end of our short break (blue cheese scone, cream cheese and chutney) - both times enjoyed in the pleasant sunny courtyard. Looking forward to our next visit and hoping that the Devon blue cheese on toast...will be returning to the menu before too long!More

My wife and I called in for lunch whilst on holiday. Service was appalling. Waited over half an hour for a menu, man who was supposed to be helping out was going in every direction at once and getting very little done. Kept promising us...a menu eventually brought us one. No apology for the long delay. Ladies serving food doing their best to keep up with orders and payments. An experience not to be repeated.More

This is a nice tearoom with a pleasant courtyard and garden beyond. There is a room as well. It’s a little unusual in that the fayre is served from a covered annexe in the courtyard so am not sure what happens when it’s wet. Anyhow...the menu is good and well priced and there is food for the kids as well. All in all it’s a good spot and well worth stopping by.More

Fabulous atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining options. Very friendly staff, helpful and patient. I had a ploughman’s and the cider chutney was amazing. Definitely going back again!

What a fantastic place. Cheese & Onion pastie highly recommended. Staff are so friendly and very efficient. Served really quickly and 1 hour parking outside did not matter.

Such a lovely garden setting with tables and with a tea room, such friendly people and amazing cream teas, this has to be one of the best we have ever had. Worth a visit for lunch also.

Really disorganised, not good customer service- the location being pretty can't compensate for the facts: tables aren't cleared; customers are ignored or left to wait and wander the courtyard; orders forgotten or brought wrongly; staff look as though they are in purgatory and are not...welcoming. All the noise and clutter in the kitchen gives a chaotic impression, with people wandering in and out with random cups. One customer was very cross and elderly, and the staff member didn't deal with it well. In a heritage location like Dunster, there are many tearooms operating, and unfortunately, if everywhere is busy you may hit on one of the well meaning but below par ones. A better bet is picking up something to go from the deli across the street.More

After a long walk we were looking for someone to grab a light bite to eat and came across these Tea Rooms. We had a table in the courtyard with a large umbrella. We had a cream tea and a sandwich and both were fantastic....The scone was huge and served warm with more than enough jam and clotted cream. There was lots of filling in the sandwich. Lots of options on the menu and service was excellent.More
