Absolutely superb local, fresh produce cooked to perfection with a wonderful twist. Exceptionally tasty and wonderful sevice. One of the very best restaurant meals I've had in a number of years and to top it all it's located in the gem of a village that...is Dunster.More

Probably the best meal out I've ever had. A cosy dining room with only 10 covers. Our party of 4 had the sea Bass, the pork chop and 2x the special Nduja pasta (1 for me). I gad the chocolate dessert. All was so tasty...and genuinely hand made, completely perfect and delicious.More

We had a wonderful evening at Hathaways. The intimate restaurant only has 10 covers and a small menu hence service is very personal and the fabulous food is all freshly prepared by the Italian chef using high quality ingredients. The fresh pasta was divine. The...photos on the website really don't do this place justice. We are hoping to be back very soon.More

We had dinner here on a Friday night in August. We were greeted and shown to our table. A good choice of wines on the menu and we chose a red which was decanted for us. The peach Bellini was lovely and a great aperitif....The chef came out with the most amazing falafel - the best we have eaten. We both chose the pasta starter special which was flavoursome and perfectly cooked. We chose the pasta special and the Pork Chop for mains and both were amazing and recommend. We were far to full for dessert but did opt for a limoncello which was good quality. Service was excellent and attentive and the food was amazing. We will definitely be booking a table again when we are in the area. It is a very small restaurant, so book early.More

We stayed in Dunster for a week and pretty much tasted all it has to offer. This place run by an Italian/Polish duo won us over completely. Cosy atmosphere, like being invited to their home (which is what the place is...). Great food - huge...plate of local oysters is memorable, as well as the pork chops main. A few off the beaten track wine options as well.More

First family meal out for ages and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. A friendly welcome from the attentive owner set the scene for a superb evening. The food is excellent, beautifully presented with flavours to match. Not really sure what could be done...to improve it. Throughly recommendedMore

A delightfully furnished restaurant with tasteful decoration and the food wasn’t too shabby either. The menu is Mediterranean based with home cooked pastas we had the pasta with porcine mushrooms and we also had goats cheese with honey dew melon which we would recommend. They...were limited to ten covers the night we were there so it has a real homely feel to the place. Our hosts were Katsia and Sandro who were so attentive and friendly, we will be backMore

I didn't take my dog, and I would assume they don't allow them inside the restaurant, as it's quite snug! Best to ask though.
