This Asian tea room is an outstanding replacement to the Chapel House tea room, All the gins are still there plus rums now. We had a sharing platter of home cooked ham and local cheese (wow!). On the table beside us two bowls of noodles...which smelled fantastic. The service was delightful. The interior is virtually unchanged, so is still brilliant. Strongly recommended.More

We stopped here for a cream tea while in Dunster and were glad we did! The place has a variety of seating from dining tables to comfy settees and chairs. The place is bright and also sells crafts and toys. The tea was served in...beautiful bone china and the scones were huge and tasted great. There was plenty of jam and cream in little pots. The staff were very welcoming and seemed happy in their work. I loved it here and can’t wait to return one day to try the hot meals. Highly recommended cafe.More

Could not be more delighted to have Mia and her team taking over the reins at The Chapel - putting their own mark on an already successful and wonderful business. Love the new Asian food style introduced together with the traditional menu we have come...to enjoy.More

This is a lovely cafe we stumbled across just up from the Main Street in Dunster. There were good vegetarian options and gluten free. Very friendly and good service. Cakes looked really good. Liked the quirky vintage china. There is an area towards the back...of the cafe for dogs. Will visit again when in Dunster. ThanksMore

Chapel house is only a short walk from the entrance to Dunster castle, so it was an ideal place for lunch after a morning at the castle. It is a pleasant little cafe and gift shop. I had the fish ploughmans, which was very enjoyable....My husband had the spiced beans. We also enjoyed their coffee. After that we were ready to walk to the watermill and spend the afternoon in the castle grounds.More

Popped in whilst visiting Dunster Castle. The cafe had a lovely warm atmosphere and the food was wholesome and delicious. The entire family enjoyed their meals and were amazed by the choice of cakes. The children's menu was very reasonably priced and contained high quality...food, not the average 'something and chips'.More
