The food is ok, although don't request anything out of the ordinary, such as no pickle on a burger. The building is amazingly beautiful and steeped in history.

The G&P have really upped their game over the last two years or so and the recent improvements shine through. We booked Dave, Matt and the team to provide a hot buffet for our handfasting reception. Many of the guests gave glowing reports about the...More

Absolutely adored my visit to this pub with my boyfriend and mum. Was very impressed with the choice of vegetarian options! My food was stunning and the best chips I’ve had in ages! The history of the place stunned me! Felt like if stepped back...More

We were pulled in by the wonderful old feel of the building from the high street (it is the oldest pub/hotel in the South West and was built to service the abbey) and inside is so quaintly old, one can feel the history. We chose...More

Visited pub for a evening meal with my family, including three children. My one year old son has quite a few allergies, none that are impossible to cater for, which the restaurant would not even consider preparing food for, despite having a sign on the kitchen...More

Came by myself, nice to sit by the window and watch the world go by (or just many men and dogs). Emily behind the bar was nice, I was greeted warmly. Food came within a good time frame and piping hot. Only down side is...More

Got a nice table in the front room and ordered variety of food. All great. My slow cooked pork belly was really incredible. Brilliant flavor! The atmosphere and service were wonderful. A night to remember.

Dark and dingy pub, really rude waiters and very unhelpful staff when asked about allergens on the menu. Don't recommend at all especially when Glastonbury is full of nice little cafes.

There were very few places with room and this one did during a busy lunch period. Which gave concern as to what the quality of food would be like. No criticism to be made, the food was reasonable and service was good. Good drop in...More
