The food here is excellent, with very generous portions and a good variety, especially for vegetarians. This was our works 'Christmas do' in January, and even though there were 13 of us, the food was served at the same time. The pub itself is really interesting, the ceiling covered with old posters with everything from elections to music events. It... More

Our friends are regulars at this pub, and I'm glad they introduced us to this lovely pub with charming staff, fabulous food and splendid beer. My friend is a vegetarian and there is a wide variety of all types of dishes, so we were all very happy. Despite the restaurant being busy, it was just before Christmas, the service was... More

Great for gluten free. Cooked gf chips separately and dealt very well with all our questions. Lovely homely environment, good service

We booked a table for 8 adults and a child for Christmas Day lunch. The service was excellent no long waiting times between courses and the food was lovely and hot. Especially enjoyed a choice of coffees at the end of the meal and the cost was extremely reasonable. Good value for money.

We have visited this pub/B&B many times over the years and up until 2016 had only eaten here a few times. We found the seafood linguine this summer and have returned three times since to enjoy it again. The food in general is very good and the sticky toffee pudding is top notch. Service is perfectly good for a pub... More

Went in on a Monday night as had just arrived in Glastonbury on a short mid week break and had been recommended to here, but found the service poor and the beer even worse. We are both real ale fans so tried a half each of what they had on offer to see, but we were sorely disappointed... The ale... More

We frequented this place often. The staff was so friendly and didn't judge (hahaha). One of the lady servers had the chef create vegan risotto for a couple in our group. Everyone loved the food and staff but one young man who was a bit grumpy (the younger man with dark hair and small ponytail was great too). The place... More

This restaurant fit into the category of 'who'd a thought it' would be so good. It is in a older building and maintains that general feel to it though the place is well kept and clean. We had fish aand chips and the howmade sauage which were both excellent. We shared a dessert that was both artfully presented and very... More
