We took a group of elderly residents from our Care home to the cafe after a visit to the cathedral. We had no problem getting to the first floor in the lift. I had prebooked and we were served lovely fresh food which we all enjoyed. Staff were friendly and polite and didn't stress at the building queue as we... More

We had the soup and cheese scone and a coffee here. Very clean restaurant- 5 star hygiene- and friendly staff. Soup was very nice- carrot and ginger- and the man made sure with the kitchen it was vegetable stock- lovely cheesy scone served with it and a lovely latte. Nice menu- not too big- but all looked well made- very... More

The lunches are always delicious with freshly made specials every day, and lovely views over the West Front of the Cathedral on one side, or the Bishop's Palace on the other. Vegetarians are very well catered for.

You can reach this cafe by stairs or lift located by the free modern toilets just inside the door. Very modern and clean lines this cafe is very popular with tourists and local parish members. A daily specials board is on display, with a famous homemade quiche and salad. Good selection of hot dishes and salads plus drinks. Lovely looking... More

We came for a light lunch here after visiting the lovely Cathedral and Bishop's Palace gardens. The restaurant was very light and airy and clean with pleasant views on at least one side. The menu was varied. We both had a ham and egg quiche with salad and new potatoes. The portion was very generous and we felt nicely replete... More

Visited for coffee and lunch last Saturday. Up a flight of stairs next to cathedral. We received a friendly welcome from staff and the restaurant was very clean. I had smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches with a scone. Lovely lunch. Usual full choice of coffees and soft drinks. Good quality food.
