Went on Friday 28th for a Birthday meal. Was so pleased to see an old favourite back on the menu. We had a superb meal the lamb dish was cooked pink and tasted wonderful. The creme brulee made a welcome return on the specials menu and was greatly appreciated. The prices have increased slightly but the quality of food and... More

visited here for a meal with my husband because our son had given us a gift voucher as an anniversary present, from the minute we walked in we felt out of place. We ordered our food and waited, other people started to arrive which were seated and given fresh cut crusty bread and offered drinks we were not. It took... More

We were a party of 6 that dined at the restaurant on Saturday 25th march. I had previously tried to ring and make a reservation but was told bookings couldn't be made after 7pm on a Friday and Saturday evening and as some of our party have children we needed a later booking so decided that some of us would... Always a good atmosphere / ambiance with attentive staff Wasn't possible to book previously but changed so can now reserve a table. Also now Italian not French. All wines Italian, which was fine , but limited choice Scallops good , only rib eye steak which was ok , vegetarian pasta pretty tasteless. So nice place to visit but a bit... More

Hi Ian, I'm affraid Cafe Lilli has never been French or Italian since we opened, we are a continental cafe with influences from all over the world. We have also always only sold Italian wines. Lots of choice, rather fancy food, some dishes I'm unsure what they are but flavoursome. Veg and potatoes cost extra. 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 teas was £54. Nice to be served bottle of tap water for free.
