The food is amazingly fresh and tasty here, don't be put off by the decor, you won't be disappointed with the food or the friendly staff. Advise you book as they get really busy.

We were staying just over the rd so kept getting wafts of very tempting smells as this food is cooked outside. Gave In and went in. Quirky and cosy is how I would describe this bar but the food was a revelation. We had Pad Thai, crispy Pork and the Cod. All perfectly cooked but maybe not quite as spicy... More

My mum and I stumbled across this Thai Street Kitchen last summer. We both had the Thai street food fish curry and it was amazing. On our trip back to Aldeburgh this year, we couldn't wait to go back and try it...what a disappointment though. We ordered exactly the same dish again, however the 1st curry we had there was... One of the best thai meals ive had! Was so delicious and the flavour combinations were awesome. Staff are so relaxed and friendly and the overall bar has such a relaxed atmosphere. The tables are a little awkward to eat at but its not a restaurant its a chill style bar. I would highly recommend the food here! Its reasonably... More

4 of us had a great Thai meal in this really unusual pub. The service was great as was the food. It's very relaxed and friendly. Cash only though so be prepared!

Visited here with teenage children to sample the well reviewed Thai street food we'd seen advertised. We were not disappointed, it was excellent. Delicious fish tempura type starter was light and fresh. Delicious main courses of ample portions and delicious flavours, with requests catered for. Will definitively return. (Just be warned - they don't take cards)

Tasty food made at thai street food take away while we watched. Not the cheapest but quality is good. If you're hungry go for pad thai..it was so big could share between two. I had the seafood one which was delicious and contained squid and decent sized prawns. Other dishes a bit smaller and would probably need rice or noodles... More

Unpretentious little rezzo. Serving Thai street food. Second time here. This time the offspring ate it all up. Extraordinary. First time ever. Fourteen is a pain the backside age for taking out to eat. So this is still a winner with added bonus now.

The portions are huge, skip the starters unless you're hungry as a horse! The "Tempura Cod with Lime Sauce" was excellent, made with very fresh cod but confusingly coated in fish-and-chip batter (definitely not Tempura) and served with a sweet chilli sauce (not Lime). The "Crispy cod with garlic and pepper" was again tasty but not crispy and lacking Thai... More

Thanks for your review. And glad you enjoyed your meal. On the note that you don't think our food is Thai I would like to comment. As you know Thailand is a huge country with many regional variations in cuisine. I developed these recipies with a friend from central Thailand when we opened a few years a ago. Our tempura... More

Description
Eliza's Thai Street Cafe is a wonderful seasonal pop up street cafe based at DP's BAR Aldeburgh UK. We serve authentic freshly prepared thai dishes. Fresh fish from The fishermen on aldeburgh beach cooked thai style. Started with my wonderful Thai friend oH. She now has a beautiful baby girl and makes all our fabulous starters. Every dish is cooked to order and this year I have brought some amazing new dishes back from my travels in thailand. This years favorite is my Thai crispy pork with three flavor sauce and amazing Aldebugh cod with Garlic and black pepper. Phad thai is a party favorite. Come and enjoy and relax at this very informal and vibrant street cafe. We have seating outside in the yard and on the street and inside our bar. We are very busy so its a good idea to place your orders early to avoid disappointment, we cant cook the food quick enough !!!!
