We called in after visiting the National Trust place nearby (definitely worth a visit) and had soup, and sausage rolls. the pudding with custard was delicious. The toilet is outside, (not much fun in the winter) and the garden is actually a patio but hey....More

Having been turned away from another tearoom due to having a baby in a pram, we were warmly welcomed here. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was on the more expensive side for a tearoom but it was tasty and portion sizes...More

We went there 1 week and had a great lunch. Nicely filled sandwich and as described on the menu, big salad with a lovely dressing and crisps. We went back the following week and received a sandwich with just tuna (no red onion or cucumber...More

Thank you for your review. I don’t really understand why you thought your sandwich was any different. If you look at the menu it says salad garnish not salad, you get the same amount however it is presented the crisps and coleslaw remain the same...More

Met a friend here for lunch, which extended well into the afternoon. The staff were lovely. The food is delicious, but a little expensive for what it is, you can get cheaper lunches in Long Melford. I had the Rarebit (one of my favourites) and...More

The afternoon tea here is priced resonably, however the only thing you can choose is your sandwich. We were given spiced fruit cake, carrot cake and a winter berry dessert, none of which myself and my friends like, so most of the afternoon tea we...More

I find your review extremely unfair. Most afternoon teas offered in other tea rooms don’t even offer you a choice of sandwich. You were actually given choice of sandwich, mini scones jam and cream, several different cakes and a mini dessert. If you didn’t like...More

I have to say staff are lovely and helpful, but after being told at 11.10 that they cannot do any breakfasts , I had asked if they could just do a couple of eggs bacon and mushrooms ... they said none of their cakes are...More

I remember your visit. It clearly states on boards and menus that breakfasts finish at 11pm you made a big fuss about the breakfast and were offered a breakfast muffin which I was offering for customers who were too late for breakfast. I thought it...More

Thank you for your rather silly review . We have checked on our cctv and you arrived after 11am. If as you say you are a regular why on earth would you arrive at that time knowing when breakfasts finish is there some reason you...More

Thank you for your review . It does state on the door that we serve food until 3pm. We stay open until half past 4 for people to have tea coffee and cakes as we are a Tearoom not a restaurant. If we actually served...More
