Went here on Sunday with friends. The restaurant was very busy but service was very quick. The Sunday roasts were delicious and the desserts were also very good.

We booked a table for 4 in the evening for 7pm. It was great to receive a friendly welcome and shown to our table. A lovely young male waiter took our order. The starters and mains were delicious and we couldn't fault either the service or the food. We will definitely return to this pub. It was my stepsons 30th... More
We found this pub a couple of months ago after searching online for somewhere to eat near Bucklesham, we were not dissapointed and have returned every night when on holiday. The food is excellent, i have not had a meal here that i did not enjoy and with good size portions. the staff are great but not in your face... More
We stopped at this busy little country pub for Sunday lunch at just past 4pm yesterday. After 4pm they do 241sunday lunch. The meals were hot and freshly cooked. I had the stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon which was really tasty. My only moan is that if you bought at regular prices it is rather expensive.
A table of 11 of us had a great meal here on a Sunday lunchtime. The food and service were all excellent - beware the enormous portions of you only want a snack though!!! The menu choices were excellent with a regular menu and a specials board plus the usual Sunday roast options. My Aunt, with a special diet, was... More
Me and my dad came here today for lunch, it was very busy but yet you wouldn't have thought it was! Great food that was at our table very quickly and prepared to a high standard. The menu was very good with a nice selection of dishes and friendly staff serving everyone, also the pub it's self is a lovely... More
It's such a relief when somewhere gets everything right & doesn't know how unusual that is. Fritto misto could have been found in Italy. Lemon sole and calamari and langoustine all cooked perfectly - all different sizes all perfect. Dairy free? Of course. My husband had smoked crusty brie. Both with fab dressings and salads with a twist. Mains. We... More
Essentially this appears to be dining pub. There is a restaurant but we ate in the bar where dogs are welcome. We were made welcome and the service was efficient but did not make you feel rushed. On a weekday, on offer were a main menu, a daily specials menu and a two courses for £12 menu. Dishes ranged from... More
Arrived for a booked table. seated in good time. Very pleasant staff, very attentive. When the waitress said 'mind the plate it is hot' What she should have said is 'it will burn you too the bone if you go near it!' Kept the meal a great temperature whilst eating . (Could do with 2' long cutlery as plates were... More
We visited on 16th March. A table of 8. The food was great and cooked to perfection. Really had a good evening. The gentleman waiter was really pleasant and served us well. If you want a lovely meal out then go here. I hadn't been for years but won't leave it so long next time. Xc
