Our latest visit was during Restaurant Week which made the experience even better value for money. We were a group of four and we all had three courses. Every dish was delicious and every plate was cleared. The staff were friendly but not intrusive. We were allowed to eat at our own pace and never felt either rushed or ignored.... More

it had been a few years since I had been to Caffe Vivo and it was good to return! Ate from the Christmas menu, enjoying a pasta starter and then the turkey main course. Great atmosphere, good service. Will return.

Went here for lunch and enjoyed it. The desserts were especially good. I felt it was a bit overpriced though, and was surprised they seem to think tomatoes should be kept in the fridge!

Caffe Vivo gives you the beautiful food of a top class establishment within the relaxed atmosphere of an Italian trattoria. I ordered squid which was beautifully grilled with garlic and chilli, followed by rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately I had steak envy when two of my friends ordered the rib of beef (for sharing between two)... More

I've been here a few times - for business meetings, and most recently (after a pause of a few months) in the evening, as we were visiting the Live theatre next door. Having never visited in the evening, my wife and I thought it might be worth a try. During the day it is a desperately uninspiring place, but I... More

Situated just off the Quayside and next to the Live Theatre this is an appealing Italian restaurant. Vision game with family for an anniversary meal all 4 of us left very satisfied. Excellent table service and a lovely choice of food.

This place was recommended and we enjoyed a relaxing lunch in a pleasant atmosphere. Good menu choice, including vegetarian options and tap water was available. I had a plate/slab of veggie antipasti, which was delicious. Service was unobtrusive. Prices reasonable. Would definitely go back.

Have always liked this place. But last night prices were up by 50% and food was distinctly aaverage. They did this a couple of years ago and then put prices back down. Hope they have the sense to do it again!

First visit to this restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Great food. Reasonable prices. I was with a small group but it would be just as good with two or three people.

Italian at heart, the mood at the Quayside Caffe Vivo is lively, the style relaxed. Cafe by day, simple supper place at night, it's food is honest, joyful and full of sunshine.
