Went there whilst on business with work. Food was nothing special, in fact it was cold! It wasn't busy at all, but they seem to only have two members of staff working. One of them, although extremely polite, was also extremely incompetent. He couldn't advise...More

We’ve been to the Living Room on a few occasions and its always been great. The bar is rather small but cocktails are always excellent and the barmen are very efficient. The tables in the restaurant are quite close together - I prefer a bit...More

This restaurant used to be great but it's looking tired now and is very seldom busy when I walk past. We stopped in for drinks which were perfectly pleasant but there was no atmosphere at all and some very slow bar staff.More

Description
Situated on Grey Street in Newcastle, The Living Room is a contemporary bar and restaurant with a laid-back vibe that keeps the locals coming back for more. During the day, it's the ideal place to do business over lunch or refuel after a day of shopping. In the evening, the modern eatery fills up with a lively post-work crowd catching up over cocktails. The fixed price menu is great value for money and there is plenty to choose from with all our dishes made with top quality seasonal ingredients. With dishes such as Thai fish cakes, Monkfish and Pork Blocks that not only taste great but look it too why not come and try?
