This place was great on a Friday night. There were seats outside but it was still busy enough to not be dull. The drinks (wine) were cheap enough.

First visit for Sunday Lunch and unfortunately this wasn't a pleasant experience! Ordered beef and lamb and although the vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and potatoes was nice - both meats were tough and inedible. The lamb was extremely fatty and the beef although sliced thinly did...More

Came for a quiet drink, tried to pay contactless and was told that there was a £5 minimum charge for card despite no signage or indication that this was the case. Bar staff became threatening when I said that was the only form of payment...More

Amazing food, even better service. We come here all the time and it never disappoints. (They do daiquris, the proper way)

The drinks here are good and the bar itself is great, situated in a lovely old building with lots of exposed brickwork.

Huge pub , fantastically styled and laid out. Felt classy and stylish . Good service, day quieter busy at night . Worth hunting down esp if your near the train station . Haven't tried food yet .

Dropped in after the rugby for a couple of beers and ended up staying for a bit of Sunday dinner. Food was rather good, not the busiest I've ever seen it but service was decent and on the whole an enjoyable couple of hours.
