This place is awesome. The lads who work here are polite and nothing is a bother to them. They just try their best to make the experience spot on. The food is excellent and specifically the tandoori mixed grill or as we call it the...sizzler…. I promise you that you won’t find a better curry than the sizzler from these lads. Spot onMore

I went here on Friday 1st Oct 2021 with my wife and 14 yr old to celebrate his 14th Birthday. The place was busy but we were very well looked after whilst we waited. The starters were excellent as were the various currys. The nan...was great and the draught kingfisher was good value. We also had a complimentary fresh fruit salad to finish with that was really nice with fresh mango, melon, strawberries and blueberries/ Overall a really great meal. The staff were also really nice and we are looking forward to going back as soon as we can.More

Could possibly be the worst Indians I’ve ever eaten, quality of meat was disgusting and one of the meals was extremely salty,,

As the Hilton wasn’t serving food I looked for nearest take away and found this place. They made me a curry that wasn’t on the menu based on a request (not too spicy), delicious, fast and very reasonable price. I yomped it down in my...hotel room. Thank you!More

We have just moved to Ponteland and thought we would have a takeaway. Wish we hadn’t! We ordered two different meals and collected our takeaway. On opening they both looked identical, one was supposed to be pickle based and the other coconut based. Never seen...so much oil floating on top of a takeaway ever!! Both tasted the same except one had a slightly stronger curry taste. Both supposed to be tikka but obvious not! The pickle dish had one bit of pickle and no coconut in the other. The sag paneer was mushy and tasteless. The best thing we can say about it was that it didn’t spill in the car on the way home. We will not be returning. Not recommended. Maybe the worst takeaway Indian we have ever had! Couldn’t be bothered to take it all the way back and the dogs wouldn’t even eat it.More

We dined in The Mogul Raj on their first re-opening of the restaurant on July 4th 2020 and I can honestly say it was an excellent experience. The staff were as friendly and courteous as ever and observed social distancing when taking our order and...serving our food. The food was extremely tasty and well presented as usual. The whole restaurant was clean and fresh and I must admit I was a bit nervous about using the toilets but was impressed at how they smelled and looked so clean. In these uncertain times I can say we felt safe in this restaurant and wish Said and his team the best of luck moving forward and hope to visit again very soon.More

A great place! I have been staying near the airport for the last 3 weeks and was looking for somewhere different to eat rather than the hotel. The menu is very extensive with lots of special dishes, many of which I have not tried before....The quality of food is what I can only describe as delicious and authentic. I arrived as a single eater and all of the staff were very friendly and genuine hosts. A nice traditional relaxed surrounding whilst you eat, very clean and comfortable. Thank you for my little treat after my meal, I won’t spoil it for anyone else! I hope to be back before I leave in a couple of weeks. PS if you like a lamb dish, theirs is slow cooked and it’s amazing.More

This restaurant is fantastic. We tend to go once a month and are always well looked after and welcomed by the staff. The tandoori mixed grill (or sizzler as we know it) is second to none and also excellent value for money. The restaurant is...ideally located in Ponteland village with a choice of bars and pubs to chose from. So for somewhere to eat this struggles to be beatenMore
