Spotted this on TripAdvisor as being close to the RVI. The reviews are spot on! I had an appointment but then decided lunch was in order. We had to wait for a table but only for a few minutes. The food was lovely! I had haloumi and avocado on toast, he had a full English. A huge menu of teas... More

Great selection of teas, home baked cakes🍰, not the cheapest but the quality is well worth it. Lovely relaxing cafe and you get a proper China cup and saucer. Can't wait to go again.

This is a great place for real tea and for those who enjoy trying different brews. It has an outstanding choice of teas, all served in china cups with saucers. We've had snacks - cheese scones & soups and they've always been delicious. The service is great and the young people employed are pleasant, polite and very courteous. I recommend everyone... More

Used to go to this place a lot when I was studying and even though its a bit pricey for a students budget its a nice treat. They have many selections of teas and some the most random flavours so if you're adventurous to try them, then do so! The pastries are good to! They also offer breakfast and lunch,... More

Often passed this place and seen a queue outside, so finally ventured in on our way to see a show at Northern Stage. The place was rammed and we waited 20 minutes to be seated downstairs on the setees. There is a large selection of teas and our group of 4 each tried a different brew. All where well pleased... Today I tried the Veggie Breakfast, it's really delicious, I really like their take on baked beans, it's different and very tasty. I had Garden Party tea; it's flavourful and it smells so good.

It's a student environment, with bean bags and low tables. The music taste is quite calm. I loved their chocolate banana cake, for those who hate banana , it doesn't taste like banana. Their qp veggie breakfast is to die for, well cooked, spicy beans, hallomi was delicious, the egg was runny. And love their mad selection of tea. I always... More

This is a great place for tea, coffee, lunch, cakes; not tried an evening meal yet. Yesterday we popped in for lunch and had the best bruschetta I've tasted in Newcastle for a long time. Loads of tiny tomatoes, roasted peppers, pesto, drizzled with olive oil, served with green salad with just the right amount of balsamic and oil, and... More
