Had a family Christmas meal here last night. Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of positives to say apart from the young lady who first took our order, however, her shift came to an end and she had to leave us. The food was quite poor, I had Scallops which were tasteless and Steak to follow which was tough... More

Took 6 customers and a colleague for dinner and all 8 of us had a terrible meal.... Service was great and ambience very good but the food disastrous! Summary: tuna tartare was tasteless Pakora was greasy and soggy Beef rib for 2 was like a Sunday roast that had been cooked for 3 hours too long by a blow torch... More

Had a fantastic 3 course meal here overlooking the Quayside. Not the easiest place to get to from the city centre, but well worth the trip for the chocolate honeycomb mousse alone! Don, our waiter, was attentive throughout the meal and treated us to a slice of that Geordie charm that makes the city so special.

I had an excellent Christmas lunch with a group of friends on 1.12.16 in the Brasserie. I had arranged this in advance, before we went to a concert later that evening. I was hoping the occasion would be a good one for us. I was delighted as the food was really lovely; it can sometimes be the case that Christmas... More

We visited for a Christmas Sunday lunch and it was lovely. The food was brilliant, well priced and plentiful. The lunch consisted of 4 courses, soup and a buffet style starter of mussels, meats and cheese. The roast beef dinner was beautiful, the desserts are excellent and it came with a glass of prosecco beautiful place to sit in the... More

4 of us had Sunday lunch which was very good value. There was an excellent buffet starter with an amazing choice or soup was on offer. One of our party had vegetarian and another fish - both apparently delicious. Two of us had roast beef which came with nicely cooked Yorkshire puds and selection of veg. We were informed that... I visited the Malmaison Brasserie with my Fiancee and had a fantastic night. The food was first class and we were looked after in style by Don and Piera. We ate from the festive menu and would highly recommend a visit. we will definitely be back.

Went here for a business event and a further business meeting. Had an insipid meal, dull and over priced. There are simply a lot better places to eat in the area and with a better atmosphere. Good for private dining mind you and internally its pleasant.

I think my title says it all! The view outside of our window was of the Tyne, and the beautifully lit Millennium Bridge (it's probably like that every night though!) and the three course breakfast wS great value ... Defo our go-to Newcastle hotel!

I was staying at the hotel so ate at the Brasserie in the evening. The service was quick, the waiters were friendly and attentive without going overboard and the food was lovely. I had the New York Strip Steak, pommes frites and peppercorn sauce. All of it was very well made and nicely presented. The food isn't that cheap but... More
