Fantastic afternoon tea to celebrate my mums 88th birthday. Service and food fantastic. They realised it was my mums birthday and brought cakes with a candle and staff singing "happy birthday". Loved the forties theme. Only feedback we had to ask for extra jam and cream for the scones. By the way they were delicious!

Myself and some college friends often pop in during our free periods for either a little breakfast, or the afternoon tea to share. The waiting staff are all very chatty and friendly - making you feel at ease and welcomed from the moment you walk in. The cakes are delicious and the decoration and interior of the tea room creates... More

I visited on Saturday with my family whilst on a visit to Stratford. I pre poked a table online and I received confirmation of my booking within 1 hour of my enquiry This is such a popular place it would be advisable to book in advance to ensure you get a table The decor inside is lovely and the waitresses... We visited here for my step mother in laws 50th birthday and we were not disappointed! It was a very busy Saturday so we were glad we booked in advance. We got to choose our sandwiches (nice touch as we all got something we wanted) the tea, sandwich, scones and cakes were all fab and made from fresh local ingredients!... More

Step back in time and enjoy a pot of tea in the authentic surroundings. The leaf tea came with a timer to ensure optimum brewing and the toasted fruit loaf was homemade and delicious. Great find.

My wife and I took our grandson, Finlay, on a visit to the Stratford Butterfly Farm on Wednesday 23 November (well worth a visit - very educational). We then walked back into the town centre passing the heron, swans and ducks on the river before arriving at Sheep Street to visit the Fourteas. As the name suggests this tearoom has... More

Went for a very enjoyable afternoon tea, loads of delicious mini cakes and sandwiches, lots of tea in a large teapot to go with the food. All set out in the 1940's style . Was a very enjoyable hour . Would go again. £12.50 each and well worth it. Best to book as gets very busy.

What fun! A taste of life back in the 1940's, with ration books, Ovaltine, and the same green cups and saucers I remember from my childhood! Wonderful choice of teas, served by attentive staff who really look the part in their war-time clothes. The decor is authentic and this place is well worth a visit for something completely different when... More

This is a fascinating tearoom with loads of charm. I think the staff are dedicated and the food is pretty good. It is certainly not a rip-off, and they take time to help you sort your order. I have Asperger's Syndrome so need extra care. This establishment is my favourite in Stratford and as a rule I am hard to... More

I definitely love this place! ❤ I went there with my friends, several months ago,and I can't even remember what I ordered. What I know is that everyone should drink a cup of tea at "the fourteas"! We loved it!

Description
A 1940s themed Tea Room in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Come and join us in the 1940s and experience gorgeous loose leaf teas or a lovely cup of coffee accompanied by sandwiches on locally baked bread or try a cake or scone made daily on the premises by one of our bakers. No packet mixes or frozen products here. We also offer a gluten free cake each day and will do our best to help any other allergies too. The Fourteas is an experience not to be missed. The Fourteas has won the 2012 TouchFM Pride of Stratford Awards Town Outlet of the Year and has been selected by Jamie Oliver for his best 1000 Places To Eat In Britain app. We have recently moved to larger premises, but we are still only operating from one shop with no plans to expand to a chain yet!
