Christmas Eve and requiring nourishment after a hard day of Christmas gift wrapping we visited The Tipperary Inn at 5pm. Even though the front of house and kitchen staff had no doubt had a busy day, the welcome was warm, friendly and service truly faultless....More

A small portion of lasagne with a tasteless orange sauce. No salad , garlic bread or chips. At £11 I thought this was very poor. As we were with a party I didn't complain. But certainly won't be going again.

Was surprised by the mainly Italian theme but the food was fantastic, the calzone was delicious (not too big either), as was the complimentary bread/olives. Service was also really fast and staff were friendly. Only problem was that the room was rather chilly!
