Fantastic food, service and the choise of old fashioned (and some modern) sweets in the shop to buy on teh way out. Only downside - does not accept plastic, cash only. Well worth a visit but you have to find it. Look out for the sign at the end f the passage, if you miss that you will miss the... More

This is a very small restaurant in an alleyway but well worth searching out. A good choice of baked potatoes, melts, sandwiches and cakes served by friendly staff. Also a shop for cakes, biscuits and other produce.

We love Wylie's it's our favourite place for afternoon tea. Have had scones in many places in the Uk but I always compare them to those at Wylie's and although a couple have come close I have had nothing to beat them. I can also recommend their brunch baps and their breakfast. Very generous portions . Lovely friendly staff and... More

A warm welcome awaits every customer to this old fashioned tea room and sweet shop located down a narrow alley in the town centre. The decor is traditional as is the menu which offers sandwiches and jacket potatoes alongside a traditional breakfast. The portions are generous (four slices of bacon on the breakfast) and the food is freahly prepared on... More

You could walk passed this without noticing but worth a visit. Very Victorian early 20th century layout, small but quaint. Food was lovely and price reasonable. They have a shop within which offers all their menu. Staff young but helpful and actually smile which is nice to see.

Tucked away down a tiny side street Wylie's isn't shabby chic or faux vintage, it is genuinely old, complete with original range, peeling paint and odd shaped rooms but what a find. The scones are fresh and light and the spicy Fat Falstaff was delicious. Better than average cakes and snacks and the buttered toast is a treat. Yes it's... More

Great little tea shop, its a hidden gem. Its really hidden away and I only found it as I stopped to look on my phone and became distracted by the bunting on the courtyard and instantly I knew I needed to visit! Good, fast service and I found the food was good value for money as the portion sizes are... More

We go here regularly. The tea is gorgoeus the food is amazing. Well cooked and generous portions and cakes the size of a childs head. Not cheap but not over priced. Well worth it and you have to try the warm Falstaff cake. Also a great place to pick up some gifts in the little shop attached to it.

This little hidden gem of a cafe, situated down an alley way off Market Place, Warwick will take you back to a bygone era of 'make do and mend' and filled with ecletic items. As you enjoy a generous slice of homemade cake and a pot of tea/coffee, it may (for people of a certain age) it will be reminiscent... More

There is something of a fad for retro teashops at the moment & most are pretty inauthentic and/or camp/ironic. I have no idea of the history of this business, but it gives the feel of preserving a tradition rather than recreating one. The staff are most pleasant & the fare good value. Interesting location tucked away in an old yard... More
