Just had lunch there for the first time and it was fantastic. We has three different meals all of which were great. A hidden gem which is an oasis of calm next to the water which makes you forget that you are still actually in a built up area. We shall return.

Called in for a quiet pint alongside the canal and then decided to look at the menu, the food was excellent and will be going back some time. Although we live only a few miles away this is the first time we have eaten here, there is a little wait for food but that is normal for freshly cooked and... More

At either end of the stairway to heaven you will find two pubs which could not be more different even though they both have a connection with the industrial past of the Midlands. At the top is Hatton Arms - not really what I was looking for. At to other end, however, is the Cape which is the heartbeat of... More

Lovely setting, good beer, ok food, but very slow poor service. One hour wait for two Sunday lunches.

We can only apologise our service wasn't up to its usual standard. It was one of our busiest days & we were a little short staffed. You can see from our reviews this isn't the norm. We'd be more than happy to make it up to you if you contact us at thecapepub@gmail.com & we'll send you a voucher. More

Staying in the nearby premier inn we chose to try this pub for an early evening meal Fortunately we had booked online because this wonderful pub was heaving. However we had good service and excellent good value food - the mixed platter starter was huge and excellent. The main course of fish stew was also great as was the real... More

We were moored up opposite this pub on a canal boat and ready for a good meal - we were not dissappointed. The shoulder of lamb shared between two was fabulous, cooked to perfection so tender and falling off the bone. Deserts were good too - apart from the single ice cream, which being a tub was a bit of... More

We had the fish and chips and chicken, pancetta pie and beef pie and some beers. It's right on the river, with a strong smell of disinfectant coming from the toilets. Nice staff.

We eat at this pub at least once a month. Our visit last SUnday confirmed that it serves the best value Sunday lunch in Warwick. Always a good potion of well cooked meat and plenty of veg. This is also a good pub for real ale and good value wine. All staff friendly and helpful

Moored across from the pub/restaurant and had a superb evening. The food was fantastic and the service super friendly and efficient. The lamb shoulder (sharing for two ) and rump steak were cooked to perfection as was the chefs special pasta. Lovely evening enjoyed by all.
