incredibly good pub, huge variety of drinks to sample and drink, staff are extremely friendly, food is top draw and its all reasonably priced! Also, the beer garden is brilliant to use in the summer with an outside bar and table tennis table.

Easily one of the best Sunday lunches in brum! All the stuff are great and always make you feel welcome. Also fantastic place to visit fri/sat nights and bank hols - the garden had a great atmosphere with DJs and bar in the garden.

I love this place, it's great decor, tasty menu and fantastically quirky beer garden are very well run and presentation, however your Gona need a visit to the bank if you want to stay here a few hours as this ain't no weatherspoons, a bit pricey on both the drinks and foodstuffs.

We recently had a poor meal in both The Clifden and the sister pub The Red Lion but as in the past we have always enjoyed the food and ales we decided to return to The Clifden last week. We were not disappointed and the food was of the five star quality and value we were used to at these... More

As one who struggles with large meals this smaller steak hits the mark for me and yet again everything was as it should be. A decent real ale to go with it made for a very pleasant early evening treat.

We were visiting the Jewellery quarter, and had bobbed in to a couple of pubs for beer and lunch. They were shocking, so we didn't stay. Outside one of those pubs was a guy on his 'fag break'. He sent us here. So glad he did! There was real ale for the guys and the food was stunning! Huge sandwiches... More

I have been to this pub a few times before I moved to JQ but it's only yesterday that I had a meal there and I was very impressed! There are some great pub classics, lovely staters and an awesome variety of sharing platters. We had some drinks at the bar and then ordered a portion of faggots and beef... More

We went here based on recommendations from several people to have a Sunday roast, and were not disappointed! They have a sheltered garden area keeping you protected from the wind, making it pleasant even on a colder sunny day. The roasts (vegetarian and beef) were both great and came with all the trimmings, for an affordable price. Will definitely come... More

A proper boozer! This place is great for a lunch time beer and food! However most of the ales are pale! I would love to see a traditional cask ale on tap rather than the yuppie pale ale being served. The food is very generous and every time I've been here I'd been good service. Out the back is a... More
