It was a treat for me to come back here after 25+ years (I moved out of the area), glad to say the food was still great, quite a relief since I'd dragged some colleagues along on my trip down memory lane. Chicken balti was really tasty, as I remembered it, and of course we went for the family naan... More

Went to Adil's last night with two friends, so we were a foursome. We all love it here, and our two friends are from out of birmingham - they have been to Adils before and love it too. All our chosen dishes were really tasty - we started with the mixed vegetarian starter (which is really quite filling) and I... More

When we first visited Adil's way back in 1978 there were no table cloths, knives and forks, rice, limited starters and the choice of balti was meat or chicken with naan. And it cost about £2.50. Although the cost has gone up a little the 40 of us all agreed service and food was excellent. You now have a choice... More

We used to visit Adil's back in the 90's and I have very fond memories of this place. Decor has changed and it now has a more modern feel, but make no mistake, the Balti's are still superb! Kids can also choose a half portion curry for half the price. The table naan is legendary! Can't wait for my next... More

11 of us visited tonight for my birthday. I'd always wanted to visit the Balti triangle and we garnered local knowledge and visited Adil's. The food was lovely, especially the Green Chilli Bhaji!!!! Great service, friendly waiters, cheap food and a nice, modern, clean restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Found this place on the internet over a year ago but this was the first chance to actually visit. The wait was worth it! Adil's is a very modern looking restaurant, nice and clean and popular! My wife and I turned up without a reservation and just beat the rush to find a table. We were quickly served drinks and... More

Came here with some friends and was advised to select one of the authentic balti curries...as i am someone who always gets a chicken tikka bhuna this was way out of my comfort zone but i wasn't disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and the price was very cheap compared to the quality of ingredients. Going back to birmingham... More

Used to go to Adil's in the 80's when I lived in Brum, been back since the odd time but not for a while. It's now "posher" but food is still good, had mixed veg shared platter starter and balti garlic chilli chicken with nan. Struggling to get a balti like this on home territory so thoroughly enjoyed. Not clear... More

Description
Established in 1977 it was at these very premises that the Balti method of cooking was introduced to Britain. We take great pride in this fact and our aim is to always serve the highest quality Authentic Balti Cuisine. The Authentic Balti served here at Adil have been created with an exotic collection of herbs and spices distinctively blended in the traditional ways of Northern Kashmir. Our menu has also been modified to suit the different tastes of our ever increasing clientele, from Kurma for those who prefer a mild dish to the Masala for the more experienced Balti eaters. For the daring diner, there is the Vindaloo and vegetarians will also find plenty to tempt them. Adil continues to maintain its unique, original style of cooking with a reliability that encourages our clients to return regulary. After all, Original is the best. Adil was the first restaurant to bring Balti cuisine to Britain and no-one could have missed the subsequent popularity of this exciting style of cooking. Now 37 years later, we are still going strong and the management and staff of Adil would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their loyal support as we look forward to the future.
