Visited for lunch with my daughter and two granddaughters aged 6years and 8years and my husband. It was Alice's 6th birthday. The service we all received was FIRST CLASS!. Friendly and professional. We were looked after by a fantastic team and especially KRISTINA. The food was excellent. We were very impressed by all. Especially the Birthday girl! We will definitely... More

This gets very crowded early evening when the CBSO are giving it their all in the magnificent Symphony Hall; even more so if there's also a show at the revamped Indoor Arena. I must admit that there has been the odd occasion in recent months, when there didn't seem to be enough serving staff on duty and, on one visit,... More

We visited Cafe Rouge prior to seeing a show at Symphony Hall and what a wonderful experience! Daniel paid us attention so we could eat and drink, all in good time to stroll over to the venue at our leisure. The food was special and when I requested to add a sauce to my main course, it arrived in 2... More

Have dined at many Cafe Rouge's over the years but this one has to be one of the friendliest and unusually non of our servers were French. The service was quick allowing for one error regarding the drinks order but everything else - 3 courses - came within a reasonable time; piping hot and tasty. As I said the staff... More

Having walked along the canal from The University we decided we needed some lunch and arrived at Brindley Place shortly after 12 noon. We were greeted most warmly and a table was found for us . It was a Bank Holiday but at that time, not busy although it did fill up later. I had the most lovely Crepes aux... More

Had breakfast, big glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and a cappuccino for £9.95. Waitresses were all very friendly, food & drink was good quality, and good value for a city centre cafe - can't fault it!

I'm frequently around Brindley Place and so visit this restaurant very often and it is consistently good. The food is the same food that is served at other Café Rouge restaurants, which is well presented, tasty and satisfying, but what sets this place apart is its staff. The manager is always very welcoming and professional and comes across as a... More

Highly recommended. My girlfriend booked this particular restaurant as we were going to a concert nearby. Café Rouge is set amongst quite a selection of eateries, really good first impression as the area was well kept & clean. Brindley Place is by the canal. Food & service was excellent. We were greeted & seated within minutes of arriving although it... More

Decided to book a table before going to a concert, and thought that this would be an ideal venue close to the Symphony Hall. We arrived early but this did not prove a problem. The Manager asked us where we would like to sit rather than directing us to a specific table. Alway like that approach! We were served by... More
