Lovely little place!

Popped here for a post gig morning bite to eat! What a lovely find right in the city centre. Lots of choice. Fresh food. Brilliant service! Will certainly go back if I'm ever in Birmingham again!

Lovely breakfast

My mother and I had a lovely breakfast here. Even though they were busy, the service was quick, food was lovely and prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

Microwaved and tasteless.

I called into Grand Central Kitchen for a quick breakfast and quick it was. I didn't have time for their full breakfast at around £12.00 so I opted for the baguette at £4.80. What I got was a third of a baguette roll with one...slice of bacon, one sausage and what I can only deem as an egg that seemed to be scrambled. I bit into it and nearly burned the roof off my mouth. I opened the baguette and nearly streamed my face off! Awful for the price, you'd be better off buying a cheap roll from the chain store around the corner.More

Popped in for a quick breakfast as so highly rated on here and spent my life walking past it but never going in. I had the full breakfast. It was.....fine. Far from bad but nothing that stands out. It is kind of hard to really...write anything much about it. Busy but service was quick. It's handy for train station if you want a reliably decent meal but hard to recommend beyond thatMore

Quality.

I was a stranger in town and looking for a breakfast. I had visited a few places that offered baps with the usual food on. I came across Grand Central Kitchen and thought I'd give it a go. I was greeted with a smile snd...selected the Ful English off the menu with a Latte. The service I received was only bettered by the quality of the food. What a homely, friendly place. Well worth a visit.More

Not your average cafe...

It's hard to pinpoint what makes this place so special. On the face of it, it's not so dissimilar to any other little cafe. I suppose, and I hate this term, but this place just has a 'positive vibe'. The breakfasts we had felt like...they were made with care, the serving staff came across as actually wanting to be there and wanting us to enjoy our meals. The poached eggs were well made, the English breakfast was excellent. Thank you for a lovely morning!More
