Nine of us dined here and the Christmas menu was good value for money. Sat in the conservatory at the rear of the pub. Good food, good beer and good service. Cant ask for more than that from a pub.

First class service and beautiful food (especially the beef) and breakfast the best we've ever had! Warm friendly welcome from staff and comfortable, quiet stay. Love it!! Excellent value for money ~ we'll be back again and again, thank you all.

Cannot recommend this Pub enough, great atmosphere in the bar, lovely food in the restaurant and friendly and attentive staff serving a good range of beer and spirits. What more could you ask for? Also the only independent pub not tied to greene king or fullers I can think of in Chichester, so well worth checking out for that alone!

better than the average pub food and a nice conservatory style dining room. Food Service can slow up if it gets busy but usually worth the wait. We tend to eat here before going to a matinee at the theatre, it's only a short walk.

We were shopping in Chi today and decided to go in here for a light lunch, just wanted a salad really and there was a choice on the outside menu. There are soups and baguettes etc also. as well as daily specials. Beer fans might be pleased at the good range of craft ales on offer on the blackboard as... More

an ideal spot for a quick pub meal. The "conservatory" is bright and the best spot to sit. It's not fine dining but very adequate.

Decided to try this pub as it is close to the Festival Theatre . Very disappointing . Small lunchtime menu with some dishes sold out even though not to many customers ; were they on in the first place ? Food was average .

When we got there it was really quiet, got our orders taken quickly, 45 minutes later people who had arrived after us all started getting there food. My partner asked where our food was and it was on its way, 30 mins later still no food. They had blatently lied and forgotten the order. There were only two other tables... More

Have eaten here several times before going to the theatre. It is only five minutes walk from the excellent Festival Theatre. Food is consistently good and not unduly expensive for a classy town. Essentially good quality pub food - does not aspire to anything else. Try to arrive early and secure a sunny spot on the terrace. A firm favourite.
