The Town Hall Tavern is a historic Leeds pub, dating back to 1926. It re-launched in May 2011 becoming one of Leeds popular drinking and dining destinations but traditionally, it was used by solicitors and policemen who would sit on one side of the pub preparing for their cases, with the accused making the most of what could have been their last moments of freedom, drinking on the other side. Situated between the courts and the Park Square Business District, with free wi-fi, Town Hall Tavern is the perfect choice to relax with fine gastro-food and drinks in Leeds, whether its a business lunch or a night of celebrations in the city. Refurbished May 2019, the pub provides a classic interior and…
Excellent as always I had garlic mushrooms the quality on the dish was as good as any Michelin stared restaurant. Followed by bangers and mash. The sausages were excellent butchers sausages with a creamy mash.
In Leeds for a night away and decided to try this pub based on their online menu and thank goodness we did. I had the beef shin and mushroom pie and my husband had the burger with hand cut chips and onion rings. The food...was extremely well presented and utterly delicious. Sadly we didn't have enough room for dessert and the selection looked so good. I would definitely return here on a future visit.More
Had an amazing lunch here today, sunday roast and pie - just amazing food! delicious with good service, advice at the pumps and the most amazing sticky toffee pudding I have ever tasted! Thank you to the staff for their smiles and service. Top tip...to book in advance, so many people came in and had to walk out! unfortunate for them as they missed a delight here in Leeds! will definitely recommend and hope to return. Booked table for 09/12/21 @ 6PM , turned up expecting a good dining experience .was shown to table that was squeezed into a corner and literally on top of a dining/xmas party group. The only way 2-3 people from this group could leave there table was...for use to move from our table every time.
A classic case of management maximizing profit at the expense of customer having a good dining experience ,
Declined the use of the table .More
My wife and I attended here tonight and our experience was, in every respect, excellent. The food and the beer was gorgeous. I had the Garlic Mushrooms and the Fish & Chips. My wife had the Chicken & Ham Hock Terrine and the Pan Fried...Sea Bass. I would order the same again without hesitation. However, the really positive aspect of our visit was the first class service from the lovely Staff they were great. I would not hesitate to come back.More
Was well disappointed here. They are desperate for you to not use the bar(every few mins ask you if you want drinks)
However main issue we had is food. Chips were very undercooked plus burgers are served on very small (for what you get) wooden...slates. Most of the burger ended up on the floor because of this.
At no stage did they ask if everything was okay, otherwise would have feedback.More

Sorry for delay replying but if its not too late to reply I walked round to make sure I knew where it was and booked while there. I assume you can book by phone and as it was busy when we got there I would suggest you do that
