My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of town when we chanced upon The Brunswick Pub and what a great find. The pub is superb, a wonderful interior, colourfully decor and furnishings, lovely wall art and plenty of seating options...spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this pub. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, we had a study of their beer range and we both opted to have a pale ale from Ilkley Brewery, these were served in excellent condition, we soaked up the great vibe in this popular pub while sipping our pale ale's. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma, a big hit of hops and a bitter finish, on a hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to The Brunswick Pub we were totally impressed. The Brunswick Pub is easy to locate along North Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, Open from 2pm. Friday to Sunday, Open from Midday. A wonderful pub serving wonderful beers, most definitely well worth seeking out.More

The waitress was lovely and the service was good, however, we could not believe the price considering how small the portions are. £14 and your plate is half empty, then almost £5 for each additional side (nearly £1 per pig in blanket)!! The roast came...with 2 small carrots and 3 small roast potatoes, the meat was cold, and the gravy was watery. Not really sure what the hype is about. Also, the seating was extremely uncomfortable and one of the stools was at the end of the table which had no leg room, you needed to sit sideways.More

The Brunswick is another fantastic craft beer pub on the outskirks of the city centre who offer a fine range of cask and craft beers and meals. Located on North street the Brunswick is housed in a traditional pub building with a quirky painted exterior...that makes it stand out. The inside has ground and first floor levels with a vivid pink painted staircase between both levels. The ground floor area has a very traditional pub interior with many interesting features and great seating options. The first floor level again has lots of good seating options and is more of an eating area to me and there is also an excellent outside seating area. We visited the Brunswick as I know to serves some excellent craft beers and on entry we gave track and trace details and took our seat in the ground floor area of the pub.As its table service only one of the staff took our order of a few pints of Ilkley brewery beers which were well served and really well priced. The Brunswick is another great pub in Leeds that serves superb beers and is very easy to find from Lovell Park bus stop it's a minute away (This is my first review of the Brunswick). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-14.00-23.00. Friday-Saturday-12.00-23.00. Sunday-12.00.22.00. Hours May Differ From Above Due To The Covid 19 Restrictions Which End On The 19th Of July. Nearest Bus Stop. Lovell Park bus stop.More

We visited for a Sunday Roast with friends based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The pub is small and rustic nothing pretentious to see here just good service, food and drinks. We ordered two beef and two chicken roast with sides of...cheesy creamed leeks and pigs in blankets. All plates were cleared 😋 the produce was clearly good quality and the cooking excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys we were warmly welcomed from start to finish. If you are visiting Leeds make this a MUST for a Sunday roast or drink in a charming friendly environment. Thank you we will be back when we are next in Leeds.More

Disappointing after see the previous reviews 😕 Very poor decor and atmosphere upstairs where we dined. Very pleasant staff who welcomed our early arrival. Basic seating, (no padding!) but perhaps I’m too old for this younger type of place🤷‍♂️ The Sunday Lunch was fine, albeit...very very short in proportions and I’m not normally seeking the larger Sunday lunch!More

First timers in Leeds found this perfect little gem for Sunday lunch on the day we dropped a son off at Trinity Uni. Wonderful potatoes, tasty roasted veg and an amazing side dish of cheesy leeks made this Sunday lunch really special. Beef was cooked...medium which my wife loved, I am a bit more of a rare person. My son enjoyed his chicken. Service was excellent from our waitress. Nice wine and good coffee. Great atmosphere in this arty city centre bar. I will be popping in again just to eat those cheesy leeks!More

Me and my partner have eaten here quite a few times and after we always want to come back for more. The burgers are really really tasty, the decor is cool and casual, the atmosphere is chilled and relaxed, the drinks menu is decent (great...for craft ale lovers) and the staff are friendly and helpful. I've seen some other reviews about portion size. Whilst I agree the portion sizes are kinda small, the quality of the food makes up for it. Also if you download the Dealer App you can get 40% off food midweek which makes it even more worth while.More

Dropped in for a beer after our dinner, its a little out of the main drag so not too busy. Great selection of beers and you can hear yourselves for a chat. Its worth the walk.

Working through the top places for Sunday lunch in Leeds this place Is winning hands down Good portions, great service and the best Yorkshire pudding I’ve tasted - that on top of the cheesy leeks and amazing cauliflower cheese we left feeling very satisfied The...decor is a little quirky but my word the food certainly makes up for any lack of frill - delicious!More
