Just outside the rear exit from Avebury Manor is a small sign indicating that the Tea-room is up some outside steps. What you find if you go up there is amazing. This large, light and airy room is set with twenty or thirty tables, all with tablecloths. The walls are mainly recessed shelving, displaying crockery and books. You choose your... More

I went for tea with my mum and grandma after a lovely walk round the village. Whilst the tea was great I was not too impressed with the scones or food, it was a little dry! I think the cafe there is a fantastic idea, but I think it would be better with more local produce!

Stopped in for a cuppa and a sandwich. Clean and welcoming. Friendly staff. Food was simple but good and very welcome on the cold day we visited.

Good home cooked soups, cakes, bread etc. Right next to the stones at Avebury and in wonderful surroundings. Ace.

Great service, lovely atmosphere, and simply the best Victoria sponge cake I've ever had. The tea was excellent with a good choice of leaf tea. The scones were lovely and the whole experience was delightful.

Very friendly staff, we were here early morning and enjoyed our refreshments sitting outside where there were plenty of seats.

Enjoyed a lovely break at The Tea Room between the attractions of the Manor House and Stone Circle - excellent cappucinos - cakes looked tempting but managed to resist (just!)

The tea room is a welcome site on a day out. Was good to see that they had a good variety of tea. Had a cream tea from here which was very good indeed. Would recommend anyone who is enjoying a day out in Avebury to pop and and enjoy the delights!

You don't expect much at cafes at visitor attractions. This cafe is OK, prices are reasonable considering it is a captive audience. Food was acceptable.

The Avebury Manor tea room at the rear of the National Trust property is well worth a visit but you do have to pay for a manor tour orca garden ticket or be a National Trust member. The gardens are worth a visit anyway and the manor is unusual as you are encouraged to touch and try out the exhibits.... More
