On a recent visit to Salisbury we decided to avoid the usual coffee shop chains and pop into a more cosy one. This one caught our eye and we had a lovely cappuccino and toast. The staff are very friendly and polite and we will pop there again on our next visit. Good menu selection.

I was in a rush and needed a quick lunch. James the waiter couldn't have been more helpful. He quickly served my fresh orange juice and a very nice club sandwich. I felt looked after and welcome and the food was good. Very happy to return and spend more time over one of the delicious looking pastries.

Had a food tasting voucher from Debenhams as a present from our daughter which after scrutiny majored on various Valerie locations which were the only country wide choice. We decided to combine a visit to Salisbury, the beautiful old city, more provincial and less spoilt of places with a Cathedral visit before taking tea. The cafe /restaurant /patisserie is situated... We enjoyed Afternoon Tea for 4 of us on Friday afternoon, we were warmly greeted by James, who seemed to be having to cope by himself with the later afternoon rush. Despite a wait we were served with endless drinks & freshly made sandwiches, including a special selection for a veterinarian. It might be served by a make over -... More

Visited with my partner during a weekend away. The cream tea and scones could be described as okay and the service was good. However, the restaurant was scruffy and in need of a revamp and the toilet was disgusting. Hopefully, the lack of hygiene did not extend beyond the toilet but I am not prepared to risk it again. We... More

Nice little cafe in the centre of Salisbury with good choices for a snack lunch. We had Croque Monsieur and Tomato Soup. Reasonably priced, good portions and very tasty. The service was quick and attentive. The cafe's position in the town and that you can eat outside in the summer it gets very busy. Out of high summer it is... More

I saw a deal with a well know company for a voucher for afternoon tea for tea and thought we would try it out. Decided on a day in Salisbury. Overall we were a little disappointed with the food, cakes were a bit lacking in imagination and were very cold and the sandwiches were ok but nothing more. Would not... More

An afternoon tea for two plus cakes was a lovely gift from my daughter. A beautifully decorated and pleasant location with delightful staff. My request for gluten free sandwiches and cake was met with a nil response. However when I mentioned that I had a M & S gluten free loaf the offer to arrange for the kitchen to make... More

My daughter was gifted a voucher for 2 people to have afternoon tea for her 13th birthday on the 15th Oct. After we had travelled in and, as her parents, checked her and her friend in, told by the staff everything was fine, we left them to it. 45 mins later we received a text from her telling us that... We came today to escape the rain - what a good decision it was instead of Costa or Starbucks! The service was excellent, flawless table service from a very polite gentleman who must have worked in the hospitality industry for years. We came as a table of four and had a selection of patisserie items - each one as delicious... More
