Morning coffee and cake... My coffee and cake was fine - my son ordered poached egg on toast, I had finished my coffee and cake he had finished his coffee, no sign of his poached egg, he asked the assistant and she went off to check... when it finally came the egg was rock hard... expensive and way too long... A group of 4 of us came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We had booked ahead, and that was a good thing as it was busy. We had a Yeo Valley voucher which gave us some discount, though overall I still thought the meal was on the expensive side. We all had soup, tea and a cake which came... More

We had a coffee and cake, Quick service, tasty cake and decent coffee. Space to sit down and park the pushchair next to it.

In the centre of Salisbury this up market café is normally great but today I has poached egg on toast. The eggs were not poached but cooked in a mould in a water bath. The bread was sliced wholemeal. Not the best meal I have had here.

I have a Barclays account that gives me access to a daily free coffee from Patisserie Valerie or 2 or 3 other coffee chains. Every time I visit my parents in Salisbury, I pop in and redeem my freebie coffee app. The staff are lovely - they certainly don't make you feel like a cheapskate for taking advantage of the... I just love patisserie Valerie and try and visit as often as I can. On top of the great food and service they also very generously donated a prize to a local charity I run. They didn't have to but they went out of their way to support a local cause. Can't speak highly enough of everyone here. Thank you.

I invited my friends with great expectations to Patisserie Valerie. Not only were they out of most cakes at 3pm but the cakes we ordered were not great either and far too rich. May be the French do not know how to make English Breakfast tea. I liked the teapot though I have one myself.

On a recent visit to Salisbury we decided to avoid the usual coffee shop chains and pop into a more cosy one. This one caught our eye and we had a lovely cappuccino and toast. The staff are very friendly and polite and we will pop there again on our next visit. Good menu selection.

I was in a rush and needed a quick lunch. James the waiter couldn't have been more helpful. He quickly served my fresh orange juice and a very nice club sandwich. I felt looked after and welcome and the food was good. Very happy to return and spend more time over one of the delicious looking pastries.
