Only because I want to keep it just for me…. We loved it! Having walked past saying yes must try one day we finally popped in on a cold day and they are dog friendly! Nice surroundings and under cover with heaters and blankets! Lucky...to have a table for drinks and the cocktails were great, staff attentive and yes with the food passing by we were tempted to try the fried chicken, were not disappointed. Definitely going back to try the whole menu! And a few more drinks. Great addition to Windsor, which I see being very popular and great that they are staying for good! See you soon!!!More

We've been a big fan of Test Kitchen since we discovered them! Patch on the Plaza is a fantastic addition to the Windsor scene. We went for dinner close to opening and weren't disappointed. Today, we tried the all-day brunch, which was awesome. Generous, original,...delicious ... a warm welcome and food that just seems to come from the heart. We can't rate it highly enough - it's a must-try. Highly recommend the chicken and lamb on the evening menu and the dippy eggs on the brunch menu. The TK chicken is a WIN anytime of day. Milly is the most gorgeous hostess; we can't wait to go back.More

Read the reviews before a visit to Windsor looking for an affordable place to eat lunch with a friend. Despite arriving at 2:30 following a visit to the castle we were welcomed by a very helpful member of staff. We opted for 2 light dishes...and were invited to share a main course ( how often does that happen?) The food was delicious with ample helpings so much so we could not quite finish it all. We opted for the aubergine with egg, beautify seasoned and beetroot humus with plenty of tahini. For the main course we had the beef sandwich, the beef was really tender, as my family will tell you I can be a little fussy when it comes to beef. A great, affordable experience. Thank you.More

We visited Patch on The Plaza, where Test Kitchen manage the kitchen and menu, and were not disappointed! We have since been back twice and both subsequent times have been consistently great food and great atmosphere.

You know that thing you do when you're sharing plates at a restaurant... when you work out which dish is your favourite and then surreptitiously edge it closer to you - hiding it behind an obliging napkin or wine bottle so you don't actually have...to share it with anyone? Well, there's one massive problem with the food at Patch on the Plaza... choosing which dish is your favourite so you know which one to steal away! We ordered several dishes - big and small - to share amongst our party of four last weekend and the biggest problem I had was trying to work out which dish I was most desperate to devour. The delicate globe artichoke with a buttery miso sauce? The deep fried courgette flowers, stuffed with ricotta, mint and lemon zest? The melt-in-your-mouth dover sole? The delectable British lamb rump? Fresh and zingy heirloom tomato salad? The perfectly succulent and spiced chicken thighs with sweetcorn puree? Or the TK fried chicken? The answer is simple: next time I'll just have to order one of each just for me and screw everyone else. I'm not kidding. BEST MEAL OUT I've had in AGES. And most definitely the best I've had in Windsor. (Should add, the wine and beer list, service and general vibe were all first class too!) Do yourself a favour and get down here for your next special dinner. Or just your next dinner. And don't be afraid not to share!More

We had dinner at Patch on Sat eve and we were so excited about the food, having done a lot of cook alongs with Test Kitchen over lock down. It didn’t disappoint!! The selection was super tempting and we could have had everything on the...menu. We chose a number of the small plates (so we could try more choices ☺️) and their epic TKFC and a globe artichoke dish. Everything was delicious, really fresh and packed with flavour - this is definitely going to be our new fav place to visit. A must visit if you are in Windsor!More
