About
You'll find The Alma just 10 minutes walk from Windsor town centre tucked away on a charming Victorian red brick terraced lined street. We are a traditional(ish) English pub serving a range of beers, ales, fine wines and great food. We also have the largest beer garden in Windsor which has recently been given a real polish - great for those hot summer days and evenings! We are conveniently located for Heathrow, the M4, the M25 and perfect for Post Legoland dining. The Alma is full of antiques and collectable's including: furniture, paintings, pictures, mirrors, ceramics and interesting knick-knacks. We also have a collection of rare film posters and are constantly adding interesting and unusual

Sometimes when pubs change hands you never know if the quality and experience will remain. It definitely is definitely as good if not better at The Alma - new chef's Sunday lunch was excellent and the atmosphere and staff are both excellent. Great pub!!

Went in on Thursday. They had an amazing singer Priscille. Had the most beautiful voice. Excellent service. Lovely bar staff. Ate the vegan chilli (quite hot!) which was absolutely delicious. Heard a table of people saying how good the food is and they were right....Homemade, fresh and good value. Will hopefully get in there another Thursday to hear a bit of live music. Can’t beat it. Brilliant pub.More

Visited the Alma for food last Sunday as they have recently re-opened their kitchen. I was very impressed by the roast dinner, good portions, nice cuts of meat, not those thin slices that are so often served up nowadays (I had the lamb). Everything was...cooked perfectly, the potatoes were nice and crispy, the stuffing balls tasty, the veg and cauliflower cheese were delicious. I particularly liked the individual pots of gravy, nice touch. Service was en pointe, very friendly and attentive. If you haven't already been, it's well worth a visit, not just on Sunday, they have a good weekday menu too.More

So this evening me and my partner experienced the most tasty, heartwarming roast dinner we have ever had the pleasure of eating. Knowing that the kitchen had recently acquired a new head chef we were eager to try out the menu. We could not believe...the quality of the food and also the portion size for such a good price. The service from when we walked in was very nice and we felt right at home with the warm fire and table service and the family feel of the pub. What a perfect venue to enjoy a Sunday roast. If you are looking for crispy roast potatoes, the best cuts of meat and amazing service then you NEED to visit here. I hope the chef carries on inventing new dishes and delivering exceptional food. Well done!More
