We had lunch here. The pub is dog friendly and has a very nice atmosphere. The menu is not huge but there is a reasonable choice. Although the food was good I did find the pie and chips too big a portion for me and...too much pastry and chips. Service was a little slow after main courses, however we will return again.More

It's called check it out as I would recommend checking a couple of things before you sit down. Access is good and the surroundings have character and atmosphere. The welcome was warm and she said she would come for our drinks order. Except she didn't...and its not busy. We moved tables to opposite the bar and put the menus clearly on the table 2 waiters are about and talking no service. So I went to order at the bar the waiter said I'll be over and was now problem 2 two items off the menu are not available so no sea bass and trio mushroom pie, so the veg burger was ordered and the steak pie. Not the best burger in the world but the pie was epic and service now OK. So check out do you order at bar and is the menu complete.More

For the first time in a while, I have not only enjoyed my night out, but also the service! The young man (Ethan, I believe his name was) was attentive and caring throughout the evening. Polite, friendly and quick to the table when we needed...more alcohol! Very impressed!More

Chef’s kiss. Now this was a pie to rival all pies anywhere. A pie that overflows as you cut into it. A pie fit for the royals across the road. It is the pie of all pies. Don’t eat too much before you go because...they don’t hold back on the portion sizes either - it was mahooosive. Friendly, efficient service. A very easy 5 stars. Sensational.More

Wow We booked in the afternoon for an evening meal after an American gentleman recommended He was 100 percent correct We had Steak and ale pies plus the 28 day Beef steak meals. The food was served with fresh vegetables and was delicious. I myself...sampled a few pints of the amazing award winning ale and yes it was award winning. We were served by a delightful waitress Violet The manager was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the QueenMore

We had a lovely meal here during a stay in Windsor. Great service and atmosphere. Catered well for children. Would certainly eat here again. Typical pub fare but nicely cooked and presented.
