I visited the restaurant a few weeks ago with a friend for a night out. I had never been to the restaurant before but LOVE Italian food. The waiter was attentive and the service was efficient. We were able to make our order soon after...arriving. I ordered two courses. I started with the Arancini which consisted of riceballs with spinach and mozzarella. Delicious! My main meal was the Penne Giardiniera which consists of large penne with spinach balls and courgette. I also ordered a side salad. I was surprised when the salad came out in a large bowl. I love salad and so was very happy at the rainbow assortment of peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions etc. The Penne Giardiniera was so scrumptious that even though I was almost full, I refused to put down my knife and fork until the plate was empty. My friend went on to order a dessert afterwards which came out quite big too. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and have been dreaming about the food ever since. I REALLY hope that I can return after the Coronavirus has gone as I fully intend to come back with family and friends. I highly recommend this restaurant, their staff are very pleasant and the food is Bellissimo!More

5 of us went in here on a very quiet Wednesday evening. We were the only customers in there. Not busy, not rushed, so why the rush to get food out before heating it properly? Pate was good apparently, prawns in garlic and tomato sauce,...tasty and hot, kale and mushrooms starter was said to be delicious. I ordered meatballs in tomato sauce which I'm sure would have been nice had the meatballs been more than lukewarm and the sauce more than cold so they went back. I declined a replacement. If you can't warm up some ready made meatballs and sauce, there is no hope. Luckily I ordered a salad for main so unless you're really stupid, you can't ruin a salad. Chicken dishes ok, lasagne, stodgy and seafood pasta had a bland watery sauce. I now know why it was empty. All the tourists had disappeared for the day and most locals obviously know there are lots of better choices in windsor.More

I hadn't been to Carluccios for a few years, but so glad we did recently. A very reasonable two course set lunch during the week and I wanted everything on the menu! We had a lovely helpful, professional, kind waiter . . Believe me, they...are hard to find! Everything was delicious and we had fun too, looking forward to my next meal there. Cosy inside during the winter, Al Fresco dining/people watching in summer. Many thanks to the team thereMore

Myself and two friends went to Windsor yesterday and after having a walk around the town we went for a coffee and breakfast in Carluccio’s .What a lovely atmosphere as soon as we walked in.We were shown to a window table by a wonderful waiter...called Mario. The coffee and breakfast of toast, scrambled egg and crispy bacon was really superb. The waiter could not do enough for us and really made our day with his personality and helpfulness. We shall certainly go back because all the staff were so very pleasant and also the lovely young lady who was the Manager.Thank you for making our day.More

The staff were really good and very friendly. But the atmosphere missed the high standards of Carluccio's elsewhere. The food was well below standard. Overcooked fish. and poor presentation. Impossible to complain as I was a guest.

We came on black Saturday and the place was really busy .. my booking was cancelled - me I think when I was booking online. The management made every to seat us and after a short while finding a table we sat down. Isobella our...wonderful waitress looked after us so well and the whole cancellation incident was soon forgotten. She was tentative, polite and super efficient. The lobster risotto on the Christmas menu was phenomenal.. It had so much lobster in it .. delicious. Oh and hubbies and kids meal were also delicious.More

I have been visiting this restaurant for a number of years and it is a great shame that I shall no long do so. Upon my last visit I had to send back two mai courses. The third was acceptable but not good. The waiter...was polite and attentive, however the young lady who I assumed to be in charge was rude and spent over an hour standing behind myself and a friend talking in a foreign language. I’ve never known an established to be so badly run.More

Carluccio's has built a good reputation and is located all around, however, for a first time visit it did not live up to its name in the slightest. Firstly, although the waiters were lovely and friendly, there wern't enough of them and especially the tables...on the terrace had to be kept waiting. apart form this the first 3 things we looked at on the menu weren't available, which is disappointing when one of those things was a bread basket. The cocktails -Negroni and Espresso Martini were overpriced as they wern't genuine aka. made from a mix. The menu is also highly priced and the food is alright but nothing particularly special and the experience became more of a long one, thank goodness for good company!More
