Just popped in for a pot of tea and crumpets. Wonderful little place! So friendly and inviting. It caters for takeaway too, which is marvellous. Highly recommend and will definitely return again.

It had turned chilly and started to rain and we were looking for somewhere for a snack and cuppa that didn't cost a fortune. To be honest, I found Broadway a little lacking in this respect, until we found this tea room. On the first visit, it was full (it isn't that large) but were successful on the second try.... More

I have been to Hunter 3 times and it is always good. There is always a dish of the day and hot Jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings. The service is efficient and polite. There is a lot of choice and they can cope with special dietary requirement. My friend had a sever nut allergy. We had the Jacket... More

Quaint little tea room, with a secluded courtyard at the back! Was a sun trap mid morning at the right table and chairs! Friendly staff, quick service lovely food!

I chose the Hunters full breakfast. A wonderfully well cooked, tasty breakfast. Quickly & pleasantly served. Quality ingredients and well portioned, I needed nothing til my evening meal.

Service was good, friendly and efficient and we sat outside. Soup and sandwich were good also, however the two paninis and toast were overdone and they don't take cards, which isn't very 21st century.

The scones and jam and cream were all present and correct, but the tea was a bit tasteless and the pot was on the small side for two.
