Stumbled upon Voltaire by accident. What a delight! Such a varied tasty menu. My meal was delicious. It was the highlight my holiday in Bangor - thank you!

Whether you’re vegan or not, this restaurant will have something for you. The food isn’t just great vegan food, it’s great food full stop. The portions are generous and everything they served to our group was class. It would be top of my list the...next time I’m in Bangor.More

Came to Wales to do Zip World, but it's Voltaire I will be talking about when I go home. Just had the most amazing meal here, no words can do it justice, but I cannot recommend the Slow Boat to China highly enough. And the...staff and atmosphere are just lovely. Worth coming to Wales just for this.More

Delicious food, great friendly service, good portions and a nice ambience, what's not to love. Possibly the finest dirty fries I have ever tasted.

We had a lovely family meal. We tried a variety of dishes all really tasty. Would love to go again but only on a holiday. The staff were all very friendly. Service time was good. We all would highly recommend.

I have got to admit I was a little hesitant when my partner suggested Voltaire for Sunday lunch. Both being vegetarians we decided to give it a go. I instantly took everything back that I had previously said. The staff were lovely, the restaurant itself...was quirky and cute and the food was AMAZING. Best Sunday dinner I’ve had in a long, long time. The desserts was delicious too. Would 100 percent recommend a visit, just gutted we weren’t able to visit other than a Sunday.More

Visited Voltaire with some friends for dinner, the food was delicious with generous portions. Lovely little chilled restaurant however only downside was that the service was pretty slow and could have been more attentive to further drinks / dessert. Would definitely visit again if in...the area.More

We found this place when we were staying in Llandudno and were searching the internet for a vegan roast. It had good reviews so we decided to drive the half hour down the coast to try it, and were so glad we did! We both...went for the seitan roast, which was incredible. There were a lot of vegetables on the plate which I liked, and was particularly pleased that there was vegan cauliflower cheese with it! We would definitely come back here if we are ever in the area again.More

Really can’t recommend this place enough, the food was delicious, portions were big which I sometimes find isn’t necessarily the case with vegan food I have had elsewhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful, really enjoyed everything about the place, so much so, we went...back for a doughnut the next day, needless to say, that was also incredible. Only negative for me is the fact that it’s a 3 hour drive away although that may be a good thing as I would probably spend too much time there for my own good if it was closerMore

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome between 12 - 3, but unfortunately not for evening meals. Hope this helps!
